Wow this is one of the best motorcycles ever with interesting pieces with interesting mechanisms I have never seen before! Maybe even better than the BMW motorcycle
Thanks for showing how the new gearbox parts are still compatible with the old shift handles. I can't wait to use them in my new models. Great, detailed review!
Hi Unbrickme, I was looking around to see someone feature the gearbox and transmissions work, because my transmissions aren’t going form one to another smooth. It’s my first set of Lego I have ever done and didn’t knew about the transmissions until I finished the set and now I don’t know what it’s that it’s causing me to move the “shifter pedal” up and down multiple times just to get into another gear. And I feel overwhelmed to desmantle the bike down piece by piece to get the gears and axels right. I Got the feeling that I’ll forget how the pieces go and end up consuming too much time trying to put the bike together, (also some pieces are just really hard to take them apart because of the way it’s built) :’( any recommendations? Overall I love the set 11/10 just incase anyone is doubting to buy it, I recommend it and it’s totally worth it. Just make sure the engine is running smooth before putting the whole bike together or you will have my same problem :(
Hi Unbrickme! This Motorcycle surprised me with its many features and parts. New parts are the best! I'm sure they will use these shift parts in the next 1:8 hypercar. I made a post about what the next 1:8 hypercar will be in the Lego Technic Gear Mania group, if you're interested, where I invited you back in March. A funny thing occurred to me about the 8043 Motorized Excavator. In principle, the number 13 brings luck, according to some people, and there may be something in it, because we really witnessed a great historical innovation after 13 years in the world of Lego Technic, which is a truly revolutionary innovation. I'm really looking forward to the video of the crane.
Now seeing it in OFFICIAL pictures I think it's more successful than the BMW in looking like the act model plus it has better functions, looks more accurate, is cheaper and has greater challenge. Maybe it's my bias as I like the New MT-10 but I think the set looks great I'd get this but it's still a bit pricey I mostly buy the £109 priced Cars I wish LEGO Went back to the Ducati Pinigale V4 scale as more bikes within that size would be preferable At £70 or have the BMW size bike line be £170 but looking forward to this on a sale.
Actually the BMW has a special race gearbox. Itˋs build like this so riders can shift while being leaned in corners. The reallife bike has it like this too. Except for that, i rly liked your video.
The new sliding ring piece looks like it could be used for an automatic transmission, idk how it would work but the sliding ring would move under pressure and engage with other gears
Unless there is a computerized system that detects the stress the vehicle is experiencing, driving rings are never used for automatic transmissions. The way they’re created is with differentials and clutch gears
STOP TORTURING YOUR LEGO PLEAAAAAAASE YOU DONT HAVE A CHOICE DEMOCRACY ISNT AN OPTION YOU !WILL! LISTEN TO A RANDOM PERSON ON THE FUNNY SCREEN!!! Its a joke btw,in case it wasn't obvious.
This video was critical in my decision to buy this set. Out of my dark age thanks to this enlightenment. Bravo. The LEGO company is nothing without its fans.
LEGO has finally made a Technic set with a gearbox of 2023. It is a shame that the LEGO Technic Yamaha 42159 is the only set that comes with a gearbox of 2023. Also I think you forgot to mention that the set also has an AR feature.
This motorcycle is really nice and I really like the new gearbox pieces. I think the gearbox in the Yamaha Motorcycle is much better than the BMW one. Unlike the BMW, this motorcycle doesn't waste too many pieces on the stands. However I think the BMW bike had a better price to parts ratio when it got released
Please 42146!
Review is Coming Soon..........
I love how they found a way to make an otherwise redundant mechanisms with completely new pieces and future ways to make gearboxes
Same here! Truly amazing gearbox!

Definitely much better than the bmw

Awesome review as always! I really love your passion for gearboxes! Are you going to do a giveaway of this set? 🙃
No giveaways, sorry
Cool set, could you please provide the name and the product number of the battery and the electric motor used to power the wheel?
is a PU large motor
Hold on. That means the Yamaha has the exact same sequential transmission as the BMW. It also goes from 1-2-N-3
Actually the BMW has a special race gearbox. Itˋs build like this so riders can shift while being leaned in corners. The reallife bike has it like this too. Except for that, i rly liked your video.
Interesting gear box. Thanks for your great review. My next driving motorbike planed to be at this size, with 2 buggy motors
Hey unbrickme!
Could you motorize this set?
large motor
you make me so nervous when you use this set around running water outside
:)
The combination of light gray, azure, and gold colors in the rear wheel hurts my eyes, though this is such a great set that I'll definitely buy.
Nice! Technic sets usually don’t have system level aesthetics anyway

I find a mistake in the function part when you display shifting function. The right order should be 3→2→N→1.😂
epic gear box
Legendary gearbox

Does the battery comes with the set?
Cool set, i hope you enjoy it!
I enjoyed it very much
Did the new gray drive ringns match the differential we've seen in thr zeteos ?
Yes the driving rings can slide into that differential
@@Unbrickme Finally !! You can now make differential lock in only 5 stud wide space.
Yeah definitely better than 42130
Its supposed to be bottom 1 then half a click for n another half for 2 1 click for 3 and so on
Hi at 8:06 how you connect the power battery to the bike? At where you plug it?
Oh heck yeah! 24T shift gears! 🎉

Only set, but possibly the best gearbox of any set
@@Unbrickme Before it would have been the Technic Sian's but it's a shame the Technic Daytona sp3 practically copied it
What’s the point of the blue shifting piece? Didn’t we already have a simpler version in the 42114?
The point of it is to shift the fork. I don’t think the orange Bugatti Chiron selector is gone by any means. This is just an addition
Just statrted building mine 😊
You gotta take off the daiper plate holder
The set looks great, its great to see another set with a gearbox! Yamaha is also my favourite motorcycle brand.
The only set with a gearbox of the year
So is it powered by something like a motor
No
@@Unbrickme ok thanks soz and also would u recomend bying lego sets with lego motors that are made by the brick zone
Just in case! MT10 is not an off road bike...
It’s still more fun to play with it in rough terrain
Wow, I didn't think that this set was all that interesting, but now I'm both intrigued and impressed.
It’s an incredible set!
Hello, does the motor you used come with the set?
Yh well I obv know now😢
5 months later😢
Interesting
It certainly is!
nope not worth it max 180. Rather buy ninjago
I’m sure you’ll be able to get it for 180 in around 6 months on a sale
@@Unbrickme yeah its already on sale for 194
@@bobdabuildar69 Whats the name of the store that sells it? Please tell me
@@Unbrickme stores name is MisterBricks but it's a european store
@@bobdabuildar69 thank you for letting me know! May I ask, what city it’s in?

Yes bmw absolutely has better price
😂 this guy actually took the time to take this toy out and make an intro video with it. 🤡
💀
Just so amazing, virtually gorgeous.
Could have been an r1 but the decided on an mt10??
Hell ya 😅😅
