works fo rme.. but the price is more than my 1500w (real 1500 - nat a "max 1500") aostirmotor s18 that survived all torture tests. I'd purchase just for the retro moped look, and the big rear strut.. all kinds of ways to get geometry on this one.
His review left a few things out . The seat is comparable to a brick the foam is way to dense. rear shock is cheap junk and to long that's why it points down hill. and you do notice it. Front forks are to short. However it is still a great price for what you get. Super 73 rear shock by (dnm RCP 2s 265mm shock) i then added the 350-lb spring for it fits. it drops rear down 2" and you get a real working shock .tHE RUJITSU OR BOLANY 1--1/8" front forks by 26" will give you the fork travel you need . it picks the front up 2" and helps the rake angle. also you can eliminate the speed restrictor by turning key completely off hold throttle wide open while depressing right side brake . then turn key on and hold for about 10 sec. then the throttle in peddle assist 3 will go to 31mph instead of 25. battery range is decent. i am going to have the foam replaced in my seat next. after 10 miles your butt is so sore lol. It's not a crappy bike just needs some suspension improvement and fix the seat and its awesome.I also took off the fenders and added a super 73 style fenders.
If my bike will do 31 mph when open the throttle while the kickstand is up, so no load does that mean the restriction is already off? Thanks for the great info I would love to see your bike

Hey man, literally just moved to Santa Monica a few days ago and you're inspiring me to get an E-Bike. If you had to recommend one bike under 1500, which would it be? This looks pretty nice for the price.
Hello ~ I wish you would have shown the front wheel installation because I’m having trouble. The rotor on the installed front wheel, barely slips in between the brake pads and the wheel is stuck and won’t spin at all. Stuck as if the brake was on. I’ve looked everywhere but can’t see anything I’ve done wrong. I’ve written the company but it’s a weekend so no help. It’s as though the rotor is too thick? It’s got 160 E stamped right on the rotor. Is that the correct rotor? Does anyone know? I’m really upset! The brake pads are as wide open as they will go and the rotor barely fits in between the pads and thus, the wheel won’t spin at all. What IS this? Can ANYBODY help me? Spacers are on the right sides. What am I missing? Is the rotor too thick? No I watched dozens of videos and no one explains the front wheel installation. HELP? ANYONE?
try and pry the brake pads open with a tool, whatever you do don't grab the brake lever and let the brake pads touch together, it might not be possible to open them back up without bleeding the hydraulic fluid if that happens.
I appreciate your reply. Wasn’t expecting that but was a nice surprise. I have done that. The pads seem to be open as wide as the pistons will allow. But the wheel still doesn’t spin “freely.”It’s better but still isn’t “spinning” freely as I think it should - correct? It goes maybe one revolution and stops. I’m installing the wheel with the bike upside down. (That shouldn’t matter, should it?) The company is horrible with NO phone number that works. They responded by email but they want a video and photos and I explained the problem in great detail. I’ll do it, but man! Is it possible that the dyisland caliper needs adjusting of some kind? There are several screws on the brake unit but I haven’t a clue what they do. Any idea what I could be missing? The pads opened up a little more but it appears they are open as wide as they can go. And yet, the wheel still has friction slowing it down when the bike is upside down and I spin the wheel with my hands. Is the caliper out of whack perhaps? This company is slow to respond and though not stupid, I’m not familiar with bike components. I’ve watched countless ebike videos and you seem to be the only guy with a brain in his head.
