Your vids have been helping me quite a bit lately. I've always been a nearshore saltwater angler but recently moved to the Owens Valley (Bishop, CA) and have been really struggling with catching trout in the Owens River. Keep em' coming!
Hey Jordan! Yet another great video. I love watching you both here and on Stay Fishy because you are really a good teacher. I have been fishing for 60 years now and still learn something when watching you vids. Thanks.
Killing me Jordan at the 8:45 minute mark 😂😂😂 now that I've slayed all these trout, I'm gonna walk and slay these trout, and then after I've made all these casts I'm gonna slay these other trout.😂😂😂 these are hidden gems in the vids ! Stay fishy!
Thanks Jordan and crew! Over the past couple years I’ve been watching your videos and I went from not having a clue where to even begin to now where I feel confident on the water and it’s not uncommon for me to limit out. Not only that, but the fishing section at stores doesn’t intimidate me anymore because you’ve covered so many different lures etc. that I know what most of these things are now and what they’re used for. Now that I know how to catch trout, I’ve been expanding my horizons lately and have been going after other species. I hope you guys start a similar beginner series for bass, lingcod, etc. since no other channel breaks things down as nicely as Addicted does
I literally just went to the fisherman story yesterday to get the Okuma SST the exact same one at the exact same store in Oregon I like to go fishing at the river under the bridge behind the dollar store😅
Really appreciate your videos. Was a little unmotivated after 2 days of nothing, but i got a nibble on the 3rd day, water was clear saw trout strike my rooster from out of nowhere. Didn’t land but maybe next time.
The drool factor is real. I love going into a store to buy fishing stuff. My wallet doesn't though. Had great success this year with trout thanks to your videos!
Hey Jordan! Love your videos, I just started fishing about a month and a half ago and I have learned a lot from you. I recently bought a walleye death spinner from Addicted Fishing, I haven’t used it yet but I bought it since it looked great and wanted to try it. It would be great if you could do a video on that specific lure. I got the pink/white walleye death spinner. Thank you!
Fining a working reel at the bottom of a river is wild. 🤔 Also the Mexican food got me 😂. They do just be serving beef and chicken with a dozen veggies
I've fished trout my whole life (61 yrs old) and I have NEVER caught a Brown Trout. All I seem to catch when fishing for Browns, are Rainbows. Could You please do a video on how to target Brown Trout?
You guys should do a mid summer video of bead fishing for steelhead, I’ve had some trouble finding where the best spots or places in the water are for them to hang out in.
Back when I lived in Colorado I started out using the Tasmanian Devil lure before I went to using power bait eggs for stocker trout before I got into carp and catfishing
You've probably had this question already @addictedfishing but is there a set of pros and cons to using a snap swivel on the end of your line top switch between spinners faster? Love the videos, love the brand, you guys do amazing work. Cheers!!
When I add a spinner lure, they’re so light that they don’t go out as I need. Would it be bad to add a slider weight above the barrel spinner? Any other suggestions to help it go out further?
I noticed that Okuma changed the numerical sizes from C -25 or 30 to thousands. Is the 2500 or 3000 the same size reel? Looking to match the Celilo 7’1” ML for trout fishing
Soooo I currently have a Lamiglas x11 7'6 8-12lbs with a Penn 4000 reel. Can I get by trout fishing these techniques with my current setup? Thanks for the videos!
I gotta say, I'd be curious after all these years, to really know what you were working with before Okuma. I get it, but IF there was another one, what would be the choice.
I’ve been hitting the molalla river for the past few weeks with no luck. There’s fish jumping all morning long but I can’t get any luck. Gotta figure out what I’m doing wrong.
I've used kastmasters countless times due to you guys hyping them up, never had a single hit on one, if anyone's reading this stick to rooster tails 😂😂😂
I have also never had a bite on a kastmaster. Same with rooster tails. I've only ever gotten trout on panther martins but that was the day after they stocked a stream. Those fish would bite rocks you threw in.
Always love a good trout refresher! Ready to smash on some sw WA trout next week! 🙌🏼🔥🎣
Got to meet Jordan at a local bar last night. What a stand up dude. Thanks for all the videos man!
Thanks for watching!
These are my favorite videos. As a beginner trout fisherman. These videos are my go to. Thank you so much, keep them coming
52nd time Jordan’s had to film one of these😅
Sharing a new resource for gear - thank you, will visit and check them out! 👍
..and loving it🤩😁
This is my first time watching
I just got my first fishing rod for my birthday and your videos have been really helpful and entertaining.

Man, those Okuma rods and especially reels have that buttery smoothness and feel like quality Diawa stuff!
Dope video. I'm new to fishing, so all your videos have been super helpful. 👌🏽 absolutely no experience but I'm sure I can do it..
You have taught me to trout fish and because of you I’ve caught my first which was a rainbow in Oak creek AZ
You guys are rad for always helping out the noobs and breaking it down to the basics.. !! Stay Fishy!!!
What a great video, good job thanks.
Great video sir!
I always enjoy an updated video, thank you so much!
i always love these re newed versions

Awesome video Jordan, I can’t wait to get out on the lake this weekend now! That’s my local Fisherman’s too 🤙🏼
Another great tutorial. Thanks ADX. A good refresher and cascade pro and ceymar for the win. Had them for many years. Ver dependable
I love your videos man always killin it w some good content🤙🙌
You made me love fishing spinner s again..

I will stand by the ceymars for the rest of my life, I almost always buy 2 when they’re on sale!

A quick recommendation
I mix the power bait with cotton mash mix. I found that it is more buoyant and keeps the dough on the hook.
I caught 5 little trout the other day in the wild Umpqua baby!!!
Hell yeah brother! Great info on some PNW trout fishin!
Bought a bunch of those sink it jigs, gonna test them out this weekend 🤠🤘🏻🍻

Aye!!! A local!

what lb fluro did you use? thank you!

Jordan never disappoints!
Was the a 1000 series reel?
Ok,,,, next vid get an rc boat and rig a bobber and jig for fall run . Would love to see this. Nice vid btw
do you ever use wobblers ?
You could make a tutorial on how to catch bullheads, and I’d still watch it at least once. 😂
Appreciate that!!
You forgot about mouse tails. Carolina rig , wacky hooked
Do you always tie in a swivel with your spinners? And is the length of the fishing rod critical?
When you added the bobber, the line looked clear, not orange. Did you add more line to your orange braided line before you added the bobber?
At what point do you switch spinners if you feel like youve been using the wrong color/type
Usually after 45-1 hour of fishing I’ll switch up.
When you stop getting bites on one switch it up! Or like Marlin said 45 to 1 hour
Why do you not use the Uni Knot as much as you used to? I like the Clench Knot as well, just curious.
When I add a spinner lure, they’re so light that they don’t go out as I need. Would it be bad to add a slider weight above the barrel spinner? Any other suggestions to help it go out further?
I've seen Jordan use 7'6 ultra light way 2-8lb and 4-10lb. Does one benefit over the other when using a bobber vs a lure?
I noticed that Okuma changed the numerical sizes from C -25 or 30 to thousands. Is the 2500 or 3000 the same size reel? Looking to match the Celilo 7’1” ML for trout fishing
@@phishon510 yep they are the same with some zeros added to it.
@ awesome, thank you!
I’m thinking the 3000 will do the job
Which setup works best at which time of day?
Soooo I currently have a Lamiglas x11 7'6 8-12lbs with a Penn 4000 reel. Can I get by trout fishing these techniques with my current setup? Thanks for the videos!
Absolutely.
Go with a ultra light rod and you'll enjoy it much more!
@@AddictedFishingthanks! 🤘🏼

You forgot worm's is #1 for trout fishing and salmon eggs #2 with the 6lbs line monofilament never let no one down.
Was that a brown trout over your shoulder just past the 6 min mark?
Dang I go to that exact store
Okay, now im going to walk down and cast again...again...again. 😅
Wut size blue fox for summer steelies do you like
Number 3 in all silver absolutely destroy for anything In my waters and they're double the price of every other color in our local tackle shops haha
Size 4, when really low and clear size 3 works good too
I’ve been hitting the molalla river for the past few weeks with no luck. There’s fish jumping all morning long but I can’t get any luck. Gotta figure out what I’m doing wrong.
Wow we do it way different here in california. I would not catch anything If I listened to this video.
Jordan: “All you have to do is walk out of the store”
Me: Well alright then!😅
Drag settings?
8:51 fire your editor 😅
Lmao thought my head phone malfunctioned there
6:05 is that a bear
Did he just freaking pull a Groundhog Days on us?

@@jayzenyuhman9095 I've tried countless different colors on the rooster tails but the only thing they seem to hit on is the fire tiger.
@ 6:05 is ole little back there taking a crap? Roflmao.
I knew it lol.
Does a bear shiot in the woods?
Of course and so does little.
Trout are a difficult fish to catch it took me 3 years to dial in so don’t give up people
Why would you move down the bank if there are fish right in front of you?
You don't work for okuma by any chance do you?
We have been sponsored by them for years, but we also just love their rods. Been a fan even before partnering with them.
Yo I fish there the right behind fisherman’s
Haha the bowling ally hole
This guy really said 10-15lb braid for trout lmao
What ever happened with your and Littles friends Odie and Brooke. Are they forgotten items again.
Heard they went through a bad break up....
You explain too much but I don't see you catch anything
Thats the fishermans i go too lol
I see what you're feeding the trout, but what are you feeding Jordan???? BEEEEF CAKEEEEE
Worm 🪱 and hook 🪝
