ALL-Internal vs Long GOP. Can someone please explain further? All Internal does the compression in camera, versus LongGOP forces your editing software to compress? I tested both and didn’t see any quality or speed difference in my editing program. THANKS! Great vids.
Very oversimplified: ALL-I compresses just within a single frame. Long-GOP also compresses between the frame. The latter has better compression ratio, but is harder to edit on as it needs to look at multiple frames to uncompress a single one (especially if you wanna play a clip backwards, Long-GOP really sucks).
Hey there, on the X-T4, do you know why lets say I were to take a photo or record a video, the video after I hit record, ends up brightening itself automatically than the iso I chose? Example, I want to record a video on a ISO of 200....after I hit record, the video automatically brightens up to look like the ISO is 400..
Please help to solve one of my main problems... i have now the new xt4... I want to customize two different profiles to skip as I want... one of them 24 p/ 48ss to make the most of the shots... anda another 60p/ 120ss.to make the B rolls..... do you know how can i configure this?? Like canon and Panasonics... c1 and c2
@@ZachMayfield Random but do you have to do something special in the settings of the Fuji to enable the aperture control on the fringer adapter? I have the FX Pro II and currently the aperture wheel on it does jack.

I know I'm (2) years late but, former GH5 owner....and I guess I was spoiled w/ custom settings. On the GH5 you used to be able to set C1 to 48ps slowmotion w/ a 180 shutter, set C2 to 60 fps slowmotion w/ a 180 shutter, and C3 to 96 fps slowmotion w/ a 180 shutter. You could set the ISO values you wanted for each also...no matter what you switch to, it's already ready to go and plays back in the correct speed / form. Now on the XT4, obviously there is NONE of that...but what I'm really realizing is, I can't shoot 48 fps or 60 fps in the camera as a slow-motion setting... I have to shoot 240 or 120fps, and CONFORM that later on in the editing timeline.. Is this correct ? Anybody.. Because I have been trying for hours to find 60fps slow motion, and it's just not there lol.

Before the recording is it works (in photo mode and video mode), but not during recording, the focus square goes green when something is sharp, but this does not happen during recording (it focuses, but does not give a green sign that it is focused) In the XT3 it is in the default settings, both video recording and photography. To put it briefly: how to turn option that Focus is confirmed with green box during recording video on XT4? never mind, i got it. when the display menu is "large" mode, it doesen't show the mic level, even when it's activated
ORRRR... set your zebras to 70% if you're doing vlogs or shooting for skin exposure. Cheers! Getting my XT4 on Thursday next week. Fun video man!

Oh dang, X-T4 has a "C" on the ISO dial!? Haha, I was using my X-T3 the other day and I thought they should add that option.
