The date was 2000, the event the Cambrian Rally, the stage Penmachno forest. The crew Daniel and Clive Dunbabin, who are both still alive and well!
And the car was a Honda Civic

Got that right. To me, it looks like the typical decals and stripes from Honda Racing AND I also noticed the EK-front,headlights and front bumper. So, its a Civic. I dont believe it is something else. Matze245, You were probably thinking about the Opel/Vauxhall Astra, because I have never in my entire life seen a Kadett with headlights going over the hood.

that happened when the vtec kicked in, the torque was so much it threw the car into a twisty flip thus increasing the speed and cornering ability by 500%
the driver was in complete control the whole time despite what it may look like
