Would be much better with the addition of a post hammering timer instead of messing with levers back and forth forever. Press On. Hold post.
You are telling people the wrong way to use the machine. I've been confused all day. Glad i read the manual, those two stabilizers are not what you put down. Thats for storage only. And you need to have that red part on the back in contact with the ground before you start banging. At least that's what your manual says in writing.
Are we related? If so, I need to borrow this. Kidding but I do need one and was surprised to see my name pop up.
What happens when the post hits a big rock in clay?
You pull the post out and try another place where hopefully there isn't another large rock. If your farm is like mine, you'll be doing a lot of pulling and looking.
Has anyone used one of these..... please comment we are presently looking to purchase and would like input with regards to their success...
Notill Farmer Been a while since you asked, but I wore out several Shaver drivers. Moved on to Protech drivers and never looked back. You can have cheap, good, or fast....but you only get to pick two.
I bet that ain't cheap.
