Wow that is actually my favorite plane. What got me into Corsair is when my dad bought me a Cox 049 Corsair u-control. I loved how it looked and the bent wing. Bent wing is sexy. LOL I was probably 8 now 41. Later on in my youth i found out much more and reason why it was bent. Which is due to over powered engine needed longer prop due to torque. It needs clearance so prop don't hit ground so they bent it. One of the movie I really like that had corsair is movie came out last year. Devotion. Great movie. I love world war 2. So much beautiful aircraft in that era.
@@RCVideoReviews Yup mustang is my 2nd favorite I notice you love mustang as well. Will you upload a flight video of the corsair? What receiver did you put in? Ty :)
Searching the names, I found a decal sheet in 1/32 and 1/48 scale from "Cutting Edge Modelworks" with Barber on the starboard canopy and O'Neil on the port cowl, but no explanation of the two names. Also found a photo which I suspect is the aircraft the markings are based on, identified as an F4U-4B belonging to the VF-113 "Stingers" of the Korean War era.

Always loved this plane too. This looks like a very nice example of the Corsair.

That plane is going to look really cool in the air
Corsairs are beautiful airplanes IMHO. I've always loved watching them fly.
