Coping mechanisms can be such a bitch. Mac was 22ish when faces dropped and later he says he didn't like the person he was on faces. Its even more sad that he was evolving into so much more when the drugs took him. Mac's journey was so relatable, beautiful, and tragic. Though its sad to see him gone, I'm grateful that he shared his whole self with the world. His life story will fuel the engines of many future artists throughout many generations.
i love you and im subscribing, ive always thought of making a video like this because i believe and will always stand by faces being the best ever mixtape/album ever made
Great video bro, this mixtape really needs a deep dive. Could you tell where do you find all this info about Mac's life and influences? Thank you, much love
Aha my aim is to add dope VALUE to the people who watch - knowledge is power after all - any way I could add more value? (Apart from including snippets which gets tagged in the copyright finder)
This was great! Only critique is just, I’m obviously not Malcom, im not in his head, but I’m almost 100% certain that on Malibu, the “I might die before my detox line” is self explanatory...I’m pretty sure there’s no double meaning there, Dre’s album isn’t even relevant provided the context. Idk. Just a thought, I just think it’d make absolutely no sense to reference the rumored album. Wasn’t really even worded in a way to where that would make sense.
@@RegalState I think it makes sense just because Mac was getting incredibly good with his wordplay and including lines with several meanings. I think in this context it references the album while also being self explanatory saying that he will literally die before he can detox but also that he will die before that album is ever released. We know Mac was a student of the game and was always influenced by old school rappers.
