So sad way to die, poor man...😢 This is a case of complete negligence, how is it possible that no one noticed the disappearance of this poor individual.
Literally what i said. Especially since its behind a lot of products that can expire. Nobody checked if the refrigerator was broken or if there was a feral animal behind it. This case seems really strange
If he is talking about the story of the No Frills of Council Bluffs (Iowa, USA), then, the people there did indeed notice a bad smell over the years. One customer said to the media they asked a butcher if a terrible smell came from behind the butcher shop, to which the butcher said it wasn't. Several other local residents who frequented the store before it closed down reported feeling a bad smell going in. The main theory seen online about this is that the store must have had very poor sanitary standards, where no one bothered to clean or even check up the back of the fridges. Something that doesn't match up about this theory, however, is that employees usually got on top of the fridges to relax, including this man who died behind them. It seems kind of inconsistent that the employees got up the fridges, yet didn't notice there was a mummyfied (because his body was mummyfied, likely a result of the heat fridges blow in the back as part of the cooling process) body behind the fridges for 10 years.
Found the article for it. The worker's name is Larry Ely Murillo-Moncada. The reason they didnt bother to search him in the supermarket was because he wasnt scheduled to work the day he went missing. Also customers did smell something bad in that area but apparently the supermarket didnt do shit about it
dying a slow and painful death upside down and especially while there are people who could help just meters away from him. just imagine how agonizing that must've been! may this man rest in peace 🙏
A plastic case of rotting meat is not enough to make an entire grocery store stink. A human decomposing body is far more powerful than that. There are many questions to be asked. How come anyone didn’t pinpoint where the smell was coming from? Did anyone check for security footage? Most grocery stores have security cameras on the ceiling. Since this was in 2009, maybe grocery stores didn’t have as much security cameras as today. Plus not to mention, his body rotting leads to flies and maggots. For this to go unnoticed is just beyond me.
You are telling me a man's scream is less louder than a refrigerator You are telling me nobody can smell his rotting body for 10 years You are telling me nobody checked the CCTV camera to find a missing person
I had the same thought: too much misinformation nowadays and no name in the video. Larry Ely Murillo-Moncada. They say it was 18-inch gap. it seems like you had to fall VERY badly to not get out

For those who wan't to know : Larry Ely Murillo-Moncada, 25, was working at the No Frills Supermarket in Council Bluffs, Iowa when he went missing in November 2009. His parents reported the man missing after he ran out of the family home in a snowstorm after an argument💀.

What if the body was already dead, and someone just tried to hide their murder victim? Like, why was he there in the first place? And if he was there for cleaning, then why didn't any other workers cleaned there?
Fun fact: he wasn’t working at all with the coolers, that spot was where the employees take an “unofficial break” and they even checked that spot but he was already dead by then, and they didn’t think to check the awful smell?
Yes, I agree. Also, there must’ve been security cameras in that super market. Why didn’t anyone check the security footage to see when he was last seen?
I watched a documentary of this and the man actually suffers from a certain mental illness like he felt someone has been following him around. He tried to hide from the supermarket where he worked for and ended up there being stuck. What’s weird about it is that even the customers are complaining about the putrid smell, the workers of that store ignored it for a very specific reason, the top of those fridge is the place the workers hide and slack off. So weird that they completely ignored the putrid smell until the store closed down and found that poor guy 10 years later.
@@crownonpoint what could be weirder about that was that they completely ignored the putrid smell the whole time. Every customers complained about that but no one cared. Yes, this event was true and did happened.
His parents, by the way did searched and looked for him and filed a missing person to the authority. When that establishment is up for renovation, they found the remains, the authorities did a back track of missing person. They contacted his parents and confirmed that it was their son.
For people who don’t know: the guys name is larry who was a 25 year old man who went missing in 2009. The police tried to find him but they still didn’t find him. His family was worried about him and hoped that he was still alive. They were missing posters about him, he went missing on January 2009. Ten years later, In 2019, When the workers were closing up the abandoned shop, they found Larry’s body parts found in the refrigerator. He must of died of being crushed to death. RIP Larry 1984-2019 he will be missed 😢
So you're saying, nobody saw the remains, nobody can hear him yell as loud as he can (even behind fridges), nobody can see the bugs flying around that specific area, nobody could even SMELL his dead body, because the smell is extremely strong and very noticable.
Gosh, this is horrible. That’s a terrible way to die. With all the blood rushing to your head, being cold, your hands being tired of holding you up, no one hearing his cries for help. Poor guy.

yeah i agree i was also confused how when he was labeled as missing, the police couldnt find him, even though he was lost at work so they couldve gone and explored the work and possibly smelt it
If you were interested, his name was Larry Ely Murillo-Moncada. And In 2009, Larry Ely Murillo-Moncada was a 25-year-old working at a No Frills Supermarket store in Council Bluffs. On Nov. 28, 2009, Murillo-Moncada's parents reported him missing, telling authorities that their son "became upset and ran out of their home". The store wasn't searched when Murillo-Moncada went missing because he wasn't scheduled to work that day. The cooler was in a back room and not in public view. The employees would often climb up onto the cooler to relax while on breaks. It's unknown how Murillo-Moncada fell down the 18-inch gap behind the cooler. But it was noted that if Murillo-Moncada had fallen sideways and gotten wedged in, he likely wouldn't have been able to scream for help -- especially over the noise of the coolers. Edit: OMG THANKS FOR THE 30 LIKES! :D
So no camera footage of the police that want to investigate a missing person, 2009 can’t be that clueless that it took till 2019 where they actually started to renovate a little. This is a bizarre story
@2ification They may have had one near their counter or entrance. If they had seen the employee enter the shop and never leave, that could have identified him.

He was working in a supermarket, missing after all these years and no one filed a missing person report.seriously?
