How many of those cards could you add in before they essentially do become floodgates? Is there a limit? What is the limit? Does only some of that support have limits? @@asheryunanhe’s talking about another duel where Sam uses a card that works in his favor that had nothing to do with dinos, but here when the opponent does it he gets mad. It has nothing to do with whether or not the decks were f tier
Honestly, Seereax was in the clear for using DNA. It made sense since Ally of Justice don't function properly if they are going up against non-light decks
I also consider Metal Reflect Slime as more of a staple then DNA Suegery since you can literally put Slime in any deck but DNA Suegery you can only put it in some decks
Ally of justice without light monsters is literally just a normal monster deck with no normal monster support. DNA surgery is basically required for it to be even remotely playable.
It's an unspoken rule in friend matches to not run floodgates. It would be like Sam running water barrier statue in this duel, or just running skill drain in every game
@@asheryunan What a bad take. Without DNA transplant, Seereax is skill draining himself. A bunch of effect monsters capable of special summoning and searching plus out of archetype support vs vanilla machines with a couple of spells and machine support? Seems fair.
Reax was in the right, the archetype focuses around light monsters. Aqua Actress Has a field spell yes but using Samurai's own logic He should not be able to play any field spell searchers
How does searching for a field spell become equivalent to a floodgate and not letting your opponent play? It's supposed to be f tier deck vs f tier deck. You can't build your deck around a floodgate. Ally of justice is supposed to be bad if your opponent isn't running a light deck. You can't force your opponent to run a light deck, especially in a friendly f tier vs f tier duel
Hope you guys are both good after. I know this one was probably pretty frustrating. To me, Seereax is in the right about the card removal. Its pivotal to his deck doing literally anything other than popping limiter removal. If we're taking content into consideration, a bunch of vanillas vs a special summon can't be destroyed by battle deck doesn't seem fair or particularly interesting. Its just praying for a timely limiter removal because he has no actual effects to activate. I get its F tier, but you can't honestly say that even with DNA transplant ally of justice is anything other than F tier. Still love the content Sam. Give him a little sway there. Its not like he Nibbed you after you summoned six fish or something haha.

In Yu-Gi-Oh 5ds I remember a dude with ally of justice using DNA transplant, so it's canon that DNA transplant is supposed to be used with those cards lol.
If it was supposed to be used, then they would have made it an ally of justice card. Ally of justice doesn't have an in archetype buster dragon to change all monsters to light. That's why it's f tier. It's supposed to be f tier vs f tier deck

I say DNA Suegery is all fair since he needs Light monsters to activate effects, then Sam shouldn't get to play Metal Reflect Slime even though it's an Aqua monster it only works with Divine monsters
Everyone is talking about dna transfer like it benefits machines specifically as if it changes typing, it only changes the attribute so it benefits any attribute specific archetypes.
Y'all need to have a list of cards that are considered staples and have a rule that you can have cards that directly helps your archtypes' attribute or type. Like limiter removal and wetlands are valid for directly supporting a certain type but dna surgery and metaverse are staples that helps in general. The metal reflect slime was a little much too.
@Mythicalthings but the purpose of this format was to run low tier decks. Ally of Justice by itself is a low tier deck but with dna surgery it becomes somewhat viable. That's the only reason they added the card in the anime cause without you can barely play that archtype.
@@devinb3538 Ok, but look at it this way. AoJ ONLY has effects if the opponent is on Lights. You want to screw up Attribute plays and force them to be light so you can take full advantage of them. That is HOW IT IS PLAYED XD Always has been.
In all fairness, Seereax couldn’t do anything at all with Ally, sure it describes using a F tier deck but Sam literally use other non actress cards to win, if he stated to be the name aka the cards themselves then that’s understandable. I'd say Sam is capping. There is no way he can justify wetlands terraforming metaverse and metal reflect slime in him deck and call out seereax for playing DNA transplant. All of those cards aren't apart of the aqua actress acrchtype so he can't justifiably say seereax is cheating when he is also cheating. Sam always bends the rules slightly whenever it benefits him and his deck but he gets mad when his opponent used the same logic as him. Which in this case seereax wasn't even doing.
You're not supposed to run floodgates to make your f tier deck better than it is. DNA surgery becomes a floodgate, so they might as well just not even duel if one of them doesn't get to play. Sam should have just run water barrier statue so that Deion couldn't summon anything except water monsters. That would be fair if deion ran dna surgery. Generic support is fine, DNA surgery isn't because it's a floodgate
@@asheryunan Seems like inconsistent standards then, because by the logic you shouldn't make your deck better than it is even generic support would be considered cheating. And the idea that "x card that isn't in my archetype can go in because it isn't a floodgate" is a very slippery slope. How many of those cards could you add in before they essentially do become floodgates? Is there a limit? What is the limit? Does only some of that support have limits? It's just not a standard you'd wanna go by honestly.
@@asheryunan Floodgates prevent you from doing something, DNA isn't even close
@@kingkronos7862not to mention floodgates is a viable (albeit cringe) way to make a bad deck better.
@@asheryunan Poseidon Wave is way worst. Can stop an attack and deal up to 4.000 dmg. Game 3 and 4 where won by that card. So where is your standard? That floodgate is good because Sam won and the other isn't because he lost? And don't say it's not a floodgate because Ally as well as many other ftier decks have usually no fucking way to deal with that card. As he said he could have litterally deck out Ally of justice simply because it has no way arounf that trap. While dna surgery at best will turn off some of Sam cards secondary effects and that is it.
"I will not tolerate evil" bro seereax is the goat bruh. I can't get over this man and his shenanigans
Shame sam had seereax take out dna transfer it could have been interesting to se to see ally of justice play. Instead sam just coped and called it cheating
It is cheating. It's a floodgate when playing ally of justice. It's supposed to be f tier deck vs f tier deck. That card makes his deck unfair against other f tier decks. It would be like Sam running water barrier statue since he has a water deck
I wonder why he doesn't have this kind of uproar when he wins lol I don't think I've ever seen Sam take a card or because it was "too powerful" lol
@@asheryunanexplain why sam had the rights using wetlands terraforming metaverse and metal reflect slime then
@@giannivalente1616 he can't because whatever he says is wrong
@AsherYunan nah i have seen you too many times I know your sams alt
Man i hope seereax holds all these comments above sam's head the next time he shows up bc literally everyone and their dog thought sam was capping
Sam vs. Sykkuno: "Token collector is an extender!!! It just so happens to completely destroy swordsoul."
Sam Vs. Seereax: "nooooooo, you can't use D.N.A. surgery that Rare staple is way too strong."
Did you somehow become deaf when they said this was f tier deck vs f tier deck? Swordsoul and dinos aren't f tier, and that was a serious duel. This is random f tier deck vs f tier deck. Watch the whole video before commenting
Lol I'll thank you for this compliment lol someone is paying attention
@@asheryunanhe’s talking about another duel where Sam uses a card that works in his favor that had nothing to do with dinos, but here when the opponent does it he gets mad. It has nothing to do with whether or not the decks were f tier
Sam really ruined a fun series to be petty
@@asheryunan did you somehow become blind when sam used MRS to get around the f tier disadvantage of his deck only having 9 monsters? cap.
Sam really out here making rules up on the fly.
Ye,he so salty even i started coughing :)
Seems fair.
@@asheryunan news flash if everyone in all these comment section is telling you your wrong 9 times out of 10 your wrong af
@@asheryunan bro how tf DNA surgery is on the same plane as a barrier statue or skill drain.
Oooof DNA transplant had Sam shook up. SeeReax was thinking smart on this one and it showed.
Reax was in the right, the archetype focuses around light monsters. Aqua Actress Has a field spell yes but using Samurai's own logic He should not be able to play any field spell searchers
Aqua Actress doesn't even have a field spell Wetlands is just generic aqua support while DNA is generic Archetypes who require a certain type support
@@NetherCrafterSMC Metal reflect slime ejem ejem
How does searching for a field spell become equivalent to a floodgate and not letting your opponent play? It's supposed to be f tier deck vs f tier deck. You can't build your deck around a floodgate. Ally of justice is supposed to be bad if your opponent isn't running a light deck. You can't force your opponent to run a light deck, especially in a friendly f tier vs f tier duel
@@asheryunanHow is DNA Surgery a floodgate if it does not hinder Sam from playing, just changes types? Legit question and curious.
@@vidalsantos5470 same im curious cause its not like hes using buster blader and stopping card effects and turning everything defense position
Wouldn’t be surprised if we don’t see them collab again for a little while lol
I'm with Deion on this one. On that note, Mokuba, call the wambulance for Sam; His butt is hurt.

Sam: NOBODY CALL THE WAMBULANCE
@@tomato2517 But Sam, your butt...
Seereax was like the father who put himself back because his child (sam) wouldn't stop crying like a fking baby until he gets his way
Ya the dna surgery really was not cheating lol. And then Sam explaining why he can use meta verse just backs why dna is ok
Metaverse and teraforming to get his card effects. So it would've been fair to let seereax use dna surgery cus his archetype needs it.
Not surprised if seerax don’t come back
Hope you guys are both good after.
I agree, and based on the previous deck building challenges, you CAN NOT use out of Archetype monster card Support, therefore you can use out of Archetype Spell and Trap support if it correlates with your deck. Like R.O.T.A(spell) for Warrior(s) decks or Icarus Attack (Trap) for a winged beast deck. There are attributes/Types based removal cards in the game, GET Good Please with Love and Care. Have a good night.
Agreed, without DNA he goes better off by playing normal machine monsters and limit removal
@@asheryunan oh yes DNA Transplant a card from the GX ERA should be part of an archetype that came out what 5 years later?? I keep seeing you in the comments stop trying to explain someone else crying to force his oponnent to run a mostly Vanilla Machine deck

Seereax was fair to have dna surgery when you had metaverse and used metal reflect slime which last time I checked is in a different archetype
Considering Sam's deck was a whole engine for searching and Dions deck was completely based on battling against light attributes more than likely Dion would have lost without DNA
Defo not cheating 100% fair to have DNA in that xD... Sam would really have SeeReax playing a Normal Monster deck whilst hes summoning 50 fish a turn
i also dropped a like on this video not for you Sam...but for SeeReax cuz he was the true winner of this duel.
How is Sam mad about DNA when he has terraforming and metaverse in the deck???
and metal reflect slime
Terraforming is pretty universal now. But not an F tier card for sure. Sam never played MRS even though he had em
Because DNA is a floodgate, so it makes the game unfair. Terraforming doesn't make the game unfair, nor does metaverse. Even seereax at the beginning was questioning if DNA was fair. It's not fair in an f tier deck when going against another f tier deck
@@asheryunan It is fair for an F-tier deck. Without the damn trap, Aly Of Justice would not even be an F-tier. The entire deck needs the trap to even function. Either way, Sam was using staples that are not even in the archetype and cards that just made his deck better while seereax needed the trap for his deck to even be viable.
Besides, I'm pretty sure I saw Ally Of Justice deck getting used with that DNA trap in 5Ds.
@@asheryunan You're just making up rules lmao. If the real problem is they overcoming the weakness of their archetypes, then metal reflect slime is as bad as DNA imo
Good to see all the comments telling Sam he was in the wrong in a respectful way lol
Nawww SeeReax was NOT cheating. Sam crying was hilarious 😂😂
Sam: You have an advantage if I play light monsters, DNA Transplant is cheating
My bro, his advantage is "having effect monsters", Ally of Justice againt non-light deck is literally worse than playing a pure normal deck
Well looks like everyone agrees DNA was fair so we need a redo. Sam you got listen to the fans
Sam was running Metal Reflect Slime. SeeReax was deff right on this one but it doesn’t change the fact that the whole situation was hilarious! Especially the double limiter kill right afterwards.
SEEREAX WAS SPITTIN FACTS 🔥 🔥
Y'all need to have a list of cards that are considered staples and have a rule that you can have cards that directly helps your archtypes' attribute or type. Like limiter removal and wetlands are valid for directly supporting a certain type but dna surgery and metaverse are staples that helps in general. The metal reflect slime was a little much too.
DNA literally is used by the anime to make the Ally engine run properly. It's practically a Ally card.
Without DNA Transplant Seereeax was basically Skill Drained and would've had more success using vanilla monsters.
No one with any level of common sense would say that a deck using Metaverse, Reflect Slime, Wetlands AND has searches/monsters effects is on the same level as Normal Machine Beatdown.
@Thonious I definitely agree with that which is why I didn't agree with Sam using metaverse or metal reflect slime. I can see both sides though cause while it let's Seereax use his monsters it barely allows Sam to use his monsters. I'm like 50/50 on the issue at this point.
@@devinb3538 Well here's the thing, it Hardly stops Sam at all. Transplant only effects monsters on the field and only changes the attribute, it doesn't restrict how you use them.
Looking at the Aquaactress cards it would only disable a couple of things. It removes his battle immunity and he doesn't get 300 attack from Set. I'm not 100% confident if it disables Torrential Reborn or not as the monster is no longer Light when it hits the grave.
Literally Everything else Sam has is either Aquaactress or Aqua monster related.
Not gonna lie DNA transplant is fair game lmao. That second duel had me rolling bruh 😂
Just casually played 2 limiter removal, man kept his cool
In the anime DNA transplant is literally used by the ghost bots to be able to activate the effects of the ally of justice...
Sam was such a crybaby to handcap Seerax like that
The salt that Sam had was unbelievable. Couldn’t comprehend what happened.
Sam crying almost made me stop watching the video. SeaReax is why i stayed.
Rex is right. If were drawing the line like how Sam was bitching about, you're not allowed to play any card that doesnt mention the archtype. question: can you build a 40 card deck with that? Hell no.
Notice how Sam hasn’t hearted any of the comments saying he was wrong for nerfing SeeReax deck.
DNA Transplant was fair game tbh, otherwise he could have played normal mosters
Seereax was right, good job! Don't understand how Sam was so mad, he's playing metal reflect slime..
Cant wait until the next vid with these two for Sam to admit it was out of pocket for him to force Deion to take DNA transplant out the deck. It was honest fair play. Metaverse and metal reflect slime
Right
Metal reflect is wrong but still isn't something that's affecting the opponents type in a duel based on using a certain type kinda inappropriate
@@pr3o5 Making someone play a deck with pure normal monsters against your monsters with effects is inappropriate, lmao.
Sam was running metal reflect slime, meta verse and other staples then was like “DNA surgery?! What?!”

It totally makes sense to play DNA surgery. Valid points from seereax
Damn Sam,you really put the "children" in children's card game

I think DNA Transplant is completely fair, personally lol. DNA Transplant, Machine Assembly, and Limiter Removal support Seereax's deck in the same way that Terraforming, Metaverse, and Metal Reflect Slime benefit Sam's.
I agree, and based on the previous deck building challenges, you CAN NOT use out of Archetype monster card Support, therefore you can use out of Archetype Spell and Trap support if it correlates with your deck. I came to the comments to say how funny the dna transplant argument was and walked in on everyone arguing lmaoooo
Transfer was definitely fair play if you need it for the cards effect to even activate at all
Without DNA Transplant Seareax might as well play a deck of Normal Machine Monsters (for the most part) with a few tuners. Seereax is justified in using DNA Transplant if Sam is gonna use Metaverse, Metal Reflect Slime, and Wetlands. Great Video anyways love these low tier decks that you don't see often/at all keep it up! :D
Seereax is the best guest on any show I've ever seen
It saddens me to see Ally of Justice put on F-tier. They used to be such a broken terror in the early days of DL. Just never could quite come back to that level. Also sorry to say Sam but yeah DNA Transplant and any attribute change type card is essential in Ally of Justice. See despite the name they aren't the good guys.
Plus he was taking it fair to this play game and it was a lot of baby tantrum which is funny to watch but doesn’t hurt to give him just one copy of dna surgery
I might be almost 1 year old playing yugioh, but I've never heard that DNA Transplant is a staple.
Salty Sam cause he could not choose better staple, lmao
Seereax was right in this, especially when Sam have metal reflect slime and metaverse :)
Funny enough, Sam had a backrow full of nothing but staples.
Nah seereax was in the right DNA is a generic staple just like metaverse it was fair 100%
I agree with seereax, Sam plays metaverse which searches any field.
Loved this episode! I really enjoy watching those Deckbuilding Challenges where F Tear Decks get put to the test. Those Duels are mostly the most exciting ones
Reax was right because if you rewatch 5ds season 2 you’ll see the duel bot called the ghost used it when they were ruining the tournament
Not including the fact that Sam used Terraforming/Metaverse/Wetlands which isnt an archetype specific field spell since all their cards are continuous spell assistance, Ally of Justice canonically had DNA Surgery in their deck as support for the archetype in 5d's, episode 106-109, you see it get used, so as far as I'm concerned it's fair game for Seereax to have it in his deck. kinda sad that you did him dirty like that.
Sam is toxic, DNA is fair game LMAO
Sam was coping out of his mind the whole argument lmaoooo
DNA surgery is legit. And allowed srry Sam.
Sam just gets so butthurt all the time when he's losing, but when he knows he's gonna win he becomes so annoyingly obnoxious.

They may be buds but Sam did him dirty by complaining till he remove DNA transplant
@@idoitforthememes6011 nah fasho it’s just funny how the whole vibe changes for the rest of the video

Even throwing insults, mocking, and being passive aggressive toward your GUEST. SeeReax was the bigger man than you here and shout out to him for keeping his composure dealing with you today. I see some comments justifying Sam and the rules and even if Sam was correct, his behavior wasn't regardless. It's just a game, just remake the video/duel. Not only did Sam's staple logic backfired on him, but Sam also thought it was a good idea to duel SeeReax again after making him cut his deck to just to throw your salt and "destroy" him to make Sam feel like he had the higher ground. 4-0 SeeReax to Sam as I am concerned.
I literally would not blame SeeReax if he does decide not to join back for another video. He deserves an apology. What a joke, Sam. Do better.
