When you tape the front. Do you tape it to the edge of the system or slighter over?

Great vid!! Any tips on dealing with hairs that have poked through the bottom of the lace or are just starting to loop underneath??! It ALWAYS happens eventually and there are hardly any vids out there on how others deal with it...help 😁

its the washing technique that causes hair to come through..a few hairs coming through are normal but if loads then you need to change how you clean the system

How much a lace system like yours lasts? Looks very realistic.

@@mgfordhairreplacementstylist oh, ok. Does lace systems last longer than poly ones (0.06mm+)?
I got my first unit last month, it's a 0.08 poly with 120% density, but it's losing a couple of hairs everyday, I don't know if it will last 6 months.

depends on the wearer, some scalps prefer lace, some poly, lifespan of each is similar but it’s all down to how you look after them

hey, so I just did a refit for my new system, which has a lace front and poly back and sides. I've only used poly before. It all went smooth until I took the tape off the lace (I have tape all around and two in the middle of the lace). A LOT of hair came through the lace, even though the tape wasn't hard to get off at all, should I use more Adhesive Remover? I sprayed the C22 through the hair side. I expected some to come through, but it was a lot more than I expected, which is such a bummer, bc I love the breathableness of lace so far. Does Knot Sealer help with that aswell? I'm thinking of getting that soon.

prob with tape it does pull hair through lace if you dont use correct solvants..c22 is wrong solvant to use on lace ...lace..rapid release is better

Which hair systems do you use and what do you use to attach it to the mannequin?

So you got that hairline with tape?
I also noticed you dont have poly band for the tape? would that make the hairline come loose if sweating?

im not a fan of poly edges, i prefer the flush fit of a lace base...you can use tape on full lace instead..

I am having trouble with tape shine at the front of my lace. Even using the same tape you do. Also getting a nice clean hairline without little lace frays showing. Mine is a French lace front with poly around the sides and back. It’s from Lavivid.

lavivid...thats the problem right there! cheap budget systems not great hairlines. You cant make one of those systems look like our hairline finishes. the quality is not there
