Your project is looking beautiful. I find it satisfying to get an area filled in, although I have never done a full coverage design before. I will be working on little cross stitch projects soon, mostly Christmas ornaments. Thank you for uploading enjoyable stitching videos and greetings from the Fraser Valley of BC.

I find that with full coverage designs it is even more important to stitch in an area. Otherwise I get lost too often.
Oh yes! I have started to think about Christmas ornaments as well. It is right time to start if I want to finish them on time. With small project it is always a challenge for me. For some reason it requires even more effort than with full coverage designs 🤣
Greetings from Canada, Atlantic provinces 😘

Thank you for another meditative session before bed. I could listen to thread pulling through linen or Aids 24/7 and you do it best, girlfriend! A+++ 🙂

Hi Cynthia! It is nice to hear from you! And it is interesting if you tried to stitch with my video or fall asleep? Very curious if it actually works for somebody beyond my family. My husband falls asleep in 5 mins watching my videos. I relax fast if I am stressed or nervous. But I might be biased 🤗

Hi! Usually I buy pattern from designers. Sometime I make them by myself.
But this particular one was a lot from this store fondu4ok.com/en/store/topics-and-genres/genre-scene/salon-historical-paintings/318-in-library/

Love this sound as I’m a cross stitcher too! What size needle do you use on 16 count Aida?

Hi Olesya!! How gorgeous. Love watching you work on your masterpieces.
Meant to ask you - I know you work from least stitches to most stitches in the area you’re working on. May I ask what area you stitch at a time?
I mean, do you do one 10x10 block at a time or do you work on columns down the page or diagonal columns? I love learning from other stitchers. Thank you. Kevin

      Hey Kevin!
It actually depends on my thread organizers. If it is easy to find any colour - I would stitch from least to most.
If an organizer is like a book, so I need to flip pages to find right colour - I would stitch by number leaving all most colours to the end. Let’s say I stitch
      169 - 10 stitches
      223 -3 stitches
      310 - 45 stitches leave
      500 - 15 stitches
And at the end I’ll stitch from least to most.
In terms of area, I came up with the idea that for me 20x50 block is the perfect one. I don’t need to cut thread as often and at the same time is it not so big to get lost. And in most cases I can carry the thread in this area without cutting it.
And in most cases I take a row of 3 areas wide. But it might vary depends on the project. But 3 rows seems ideal for hands. Easier to reach and not needed to scroll the frame as often
Thank you for your support with watching my videos and writing your thoughts. It is really appreciated! 🥰
Send hi from me to your dog. 🤗

@@StitchingMasterpieces Cali (my dog) loves to smoosh against my leg on the couch while I stitch!! She only got into my thread ONCE and it was silk thread and she chewed up the little plastic bag I store thread in. Luckily she didn’t ruin the thread or eat it!
Look forward to your videos. Thank you for taking time to explain your method to me. I might try the 20 by 50 and see how I like that! Thanks! Kevin

@KT-sq2ml So cute name for a little white doggy. It should be very nice to stitch in a company. I did it with my dog, she was very good companion for it.
Yeah, it is not a good idea to eat threads. Should not be very healthy diet.
If you usually stitch in a small area try increase slowly to find your perfect size.
A couple years ago I stitched 20x20 or 20x30 and it was perfect for me. Some people stitch In the area 50x50 but it did not work for me at all. Too slow. So, it is just matter of preference to find the biggest convenient size of it
      Thank you! 🥰

What is the exact name of this pattern? Suggestion…maybe put a picture up of the whole pattern you are stitching on the far side or top/bottom of your screen while you stitch so we can actually see what you are working on? Thanks!

Thanks for your idea! The original painting was called “Scholar in a Libra beside the globe”. Designer called the pattern just “In a library”
