tengma8 Some channels tried solving this by adding extra minutes to the end of each series so it'd always have the same length. It does however make each replay seem like a huge time investment and might turn people off.
And Lowko, you're right :) Reading Korean is quite simple, it's just like putting puzzle pieces together Please coach me in Starcraft and I can teach you all the Korean you want 🙏
Man i remember my first time playing as protoss against a plat zerg that did mass mutas, i got so frustrated that he just kept rotating between my bases wearing me down while doing zergling runbys and i couldnt kill them all, and eventually i just had no minerals . I felt so demoralized, couldnºt for the longest time understand how to deal with it.
Just curious.. starcraft co-op player here (try pvp.. get my teeth punched in like, minute 2 every time). When the enemy goes brood lord.. wouldn't a switch to phoenix be a fix, mean they are fast, 'anti-air' that can fire on the move.. so if you get 10 or so, as a 'buffer' to just chew on broodlords...
Talatharas Phoenixes are good against light units, they do very little against brood lords. And brood lords are rarely alone, they are usually accompanied by something that shoots air (like corruptors), and then phoenixes are dead. You nees heavy air against brood lord (carrier, tempest, even void ray works) or blink stalkers with a beefy backup to deal with the broodlings.
Reading Korean (not understanding, just reading) is really simple, you can watch like 20 minutes of videos on youtube and a little bit of practice and you'll get it.
Why are you saying roothero when his real name is hero? Also I love your subnautica streams, maybe you should upload some highlights to your RUclips channel?
Storm drops? That certainly is interesting, but this video really should have been labeled "mutas?!?" Just in general I can't remember the last time I've seen mutas in a professional sc2 game
So, mutalisks are essentially worthless? I don't play multiplayer at all, but it seems that everyone goes straight to broodlords/corruptors/vipers and bypasses mutalisks altogether.
Yes, its useless now, in SC1, Z players use them to harass workers, but in SC2 Terran Hellion, Medivac & Protoss Oracle, Adept is much cheaper and faster to build in early game than Muta. So yeah, Blizz should delete Muta from the game or atleast buff it.
They are not worthless, they just need to be used in the right moment and in the right way, like in the last game. Also, if the protoss doesn't open with stargate and does not kill the zerg before he can get to mutas it's gg, because phoenixes are the only thing that counters them. If you notice, the only game where Hero didn't open with stargate, he did a 2-base allin to kill the zerg right away.
I can teach you to read korean in two minutes. His nickname means “Im a 개beginner”. 개 means dog but its sometimes used as a slang to emphasise the point, in this case being a noob
It stays pretty consistently even, which it would even if one race was imbalanced. Think about it, if T is stronger than P, then someone who is really good with P will get placed with someone who is mediocre with T, and they will have about the same number of wins and losses, and the T and P ratio will be close, even though there isn't real balance.
Finally, revenge is real! It sooo satisfying to see zerg have an option to win lategame vs toss with all of gay things like an early oracles and adepts and late-game inadequate toss' damage. What a game! Hail for the Swarm!
I remember the first video you cast on Abyssal reef. You kept following the dead units ascent to the surface. :P
same, feels like yesterday
Davidh41690 i am going to miss the flying bodies and Mr. Shark
that was way too funny to me
False, he follows units to the surface every fourth cast on this map, I think.
Go back to the first Abyssal Reef cast, it was mesmerizing to him. :P
This player number 1 in the world
That player number 1 in the world
The other guy is player number 1 in the world
*Lowko my brain is dead please stop*
Those two ravagers ascending to heavens at 35:25 :v love your videos, Lowko
yet again lowko uploads a video when i'm about to go to sleep. well, guess I'll sleep later.
Well, he ALWAYS uploads at the exact same hour, sooo...
Well, most days I'm already sleeping when he uploads, sooo...
Korean here - "개초보입니다” means "I'm a super noob"
Lol Rogue
Hero is 2-0
look at the progress bar of the video.
Let me guess who wins the next two games.

I got to that part and thought "I don't really want to watch that much if I know the outcome. Let's skip these 3 ads."
Game 2 7:00
Game 3 12:50
Game 4 24:45
Game 5 43:00
Thank you good sir. Here, have a cookie for that
Storm Drops? Why I haven't seen this used since way back in my day! Young whippersnappers finally caught onto it
Wow what a game Lowko .
A Lowko bo5, truly my cup runneth over
I don't know how you do this, but those videos comes at the perfect moment in a day.
That very last fight.
"And I'll be like
Banelings, banelings banelings ooooh."
Rip Husky
That name tho XD
'I'm a super noob' (Basically)...
What a wicked series, really see the strength of banelings here, plus a few interesting strategies being tested. Good casting too.
And Lowko, you're right :) Reading Korean is quite simple, it's just like putting puzzle pieces together
Please coach me in Starcraft and I can teach you all the Korean you want 🙏
starcraft is in your blood, you don't need to learn, only play
Rouge’s Korean name roughly translates to: Im a super noob. Lol
Man, storm drops were the shit back in BroodWar. Super terrifying. Its a shame its so underused in SC2.
omg those high templars just blowing up
i had to look away
I used to make disruptor drops when playing with friends, never thought about storms though
Rogue is the best! Loved this series.
Hey Lowko I remember there was a time where you said that there are maps that different kinds of play styles were better than others.
When you watch a replay and within the first 5 minutes of the match you think yourself I swear I saw this match already
Take a shot every time Lowko says "Just a matter of seconds"
Those death animations~
Didn't he get out of a 0x2 in Blizzcon as well? Amazing!
amazing match! both awesome players
sees 2/0 at 13 minutes, video's 1 hour long BOIIIIIIIIIIII dis gunna be gud
54:08 priceless! :D
GGs and great comeback!
Oh noes, no more "Mr. Shark" friendship manners ! XD
Good cast!
34:42 "as a matter of fork"
Imagine being a protoss warrior trying to deal with all that swarm on that last match.
Also we won't get to see Mr.Shark anymore soon?! :(
Man i remember my first time playing as protoss against a plat zerg that did mass mutas, i got so frustrated that he just kept rotating between my bases wearing me down while doing zergling runbys and i couldnt kill them all, and eventually i just had no minerals . Love these Videos. Wish Starcraft would get a bigger player pool
Viktor usally when I get on there is only 10,000. 😂 I must get on the wrong times of the day
Ooooooh my god those banes
what a great cast lowko
Thank you!
Our future is the Daelaam.
I almost feel like that Rogue intentionally went 0:2 then 3:2 on purpose
Keep the good content
Rogue is simply the best. Long live the Swarm!
Banelings are OP.
34:43 : "As a matter of frog " ? O_o yet another English expression I didn't know. I wonder what that means....
+Jiraton
You sir need to clean you ears. He clearly said "as a matter of fact"
I, however, like my ears smelly and sticky.
If only Hero knew how to Build a wall
Epic. Match!
what was the point of the void ray in game 5
I love how zerglings just hop when they dont have speed upgrade yet... Cs they look like kangaroos
protoss players always go with offensive move with probe, no wonder why carbot made probe such a pain in you-know-where
What?! Abyssal reef is great!
just about to start eating and i open yt, *sees a lowko video* ...
Just curious.. starcraft co-op player here (try pvp.. get my teeth punched in like, minute 2 every time). Talatharas but they die super fast (to corrupter) and can’t really kill them
Lowko, the last game didnt have harvester kill count.
Zerg is 0verp0wered!
Reading Korean (not understanding, just reading) is really simple, you can watch like 20 minutes of videos on youtube and a little bit of practice and you'll get it.
''Just a matter of seconds'' x15 lol
Ah, I just got it. 초보 is the opposite of gosu. I am chobo as well.
The nickname of the zerg player is "I'm a freakin noob"... idk if that is appropriate for official tournaments
Yeah, learning to read Korean is not big deal, as you said all the letters are phonetic
So, mutalisks are essentially worthless? I don't play multiplayer at all, but it seems that everyone goes straight to broodlords/corruptors/vipers and bypasses mutalisks altogether.
p.s. I asked this before the last match.
Mira's are fragile and expensive. Every other Zerg unit can be decent in an a-move fight given the right situation. Mutas almost always lose.

No, they are just extremely micro intensive units that limits most people on their value
15:02 isn't it magnetic?
Why doesnt hero put a pylon in the 2nd base expansion of the zerg
Since this is pro level, zerg would notice it and destroy the pylon with his zerglings. It would just be a waste of time and apm.
I can teach you to read korean in two minutes. His nickname means “Im a 개beginner”. 개 means dog but its sometimes used as a slang to emphasise the point, in this case being a noob
such a sad day for my race ;(
I'm really courious about the ratio between zerg wins and losses against other races because it seems like zerg is flatout better.
its possible that more people play it considering that a bunch of new people started playing it
It stays pretty consistently even, which it would even if one race was imbalanced. Think about it, if T is stronger than P, then someone who is really good with P will get placed with someone who is mediocre with T, and they will have about the same number of wins and losses, and the T and P ratio will be close, even though there isn't real balance.
when psi drops?
why is it so hard for you to say three? lol good commentary good games
Noob question: How did he storm practically immediately after dropping the ht?
Julio Santana what is you question about the storm?
Oh never mind I re read it and abilities can be used after transport as long as a unit has energy it can use its abilities.
Drop the HTs box select as you are dropping them and then strom, just do it quickly there's no magic trick about it :D
Also he could of had them on a hotkey like 5 or something and selected the control group as soon as they were dropped from the transport.
im 14 years old and from denmark. I learned reading korean in 30 minutes. it IS very easy. Try it!
hahahahaha I'm a native Korean speaker, and his nickname roughly translate to: I am a freakin noob
hero is from Korea too? u didn't tell that :( :D
Just wondering if you know what "cute" means... I don't really feel that a storm drop is "cute".
But never the less, I like the vids!
Cheeky little games
His name means “I’m a noob”
Probably gonna switch to playing zerg instead of Terran.
Tan Bing Hui teach me terran and I teach you zerg?
Hi
FIRST? AM I COOL YET
Spenser Catchpole damn
You’ve always been cool 🤗
ZERG!!!!!!!!
Recall needs to go.
Your English seems like a local.
GG
Finally, revenge is real! It sooo satisfying to see zerg have an option to win lategame vs toss with all of gay things like an early oracles and adepts and late-game inadequate toss' damage. What a game! Hail for the Swarm!
