You’ll be ok, worse case scenario the drops don’t work and you get antibiotics and if that doesn’t work you get it suctioned and that will actually feel really good
I never realised that swimmers ear was such a nasty looking infection! Looking forward to the update on if the treatment worked well or not. My question is if someone were to have this as a chronic issue and the treatments you could offer weren't working what options would an ENT specialist have to utilise? X *claire* X
+Claire Westmoreland if it failed to respond to repeated treatment with drops and use of a wick to deliver the medicine in the deep canal, they could debride it with instruments under anesthesia using an operating microscope.

Now when I had swimmers ears like this my doctor sucked out as much as he could was there a reason why you left that in there and didn't try to take that gunk out and then let the drops work even better
I used to get swimmers ear all the time. After you swim if you use a little mixture of alcohol and peroxide in each ear it will draw out the water and bacteria. I usually let it sit in each ear for about 5 minutes and then plug it with a cotton ball for 20 min or so. I hope this helps!!!
I am 12 and over the summer I got a swimmers ear that just kept getting worse! luckily i had a loose tooth so it spread there and not between my brain and a bone. What would they have had to do if it spread there?
This pain is so bad, when does it start getting better? The drops are not working I try to do it 2/3 times a day. I’m hurting so bad Tylenol is not working, what do I do?

Auburn Medical Group because she said it was getting red inside cause I was using the q-tip in it. because I started it today and I used 3 drops and the 60 seconds in it was itching and it's dry now . and on top of that I got dry skin in the inner ear and the outer. but when the drops came out my ear after 60 secs it felt warm but no stinging

Great and medical group. The medical profession needs to look at BRUDILINE cream for this condition. I had this condition for 10 years on and off. Tried everything, px drops, over the counter drops. This is antibacterial, antiseptic and states it is for outer ear infections. Around 4 pounds from the internet.

Slozilla I have it to I feel the same way. I hurts, itches, and is effecting my daily life. It will normally last about 7 -10 days

I had this and didn’t know it, and flew to Vancouver and back. Was not fun. The meds took it away fairly fast though, thankfully.

This case does not have much of the fungal appearance. Typically the fungal growth looks fuzzy.

I don't like that it causes itching. Make sure the prescribing doctor knows. They may want to look or change the Rx.
