  • Hi everyone! I’m back with another video and this time it’s a new day in the life vlog - FINALLY! You guys keep asking for Scottie to guest on my daily vlogs but let me tell you- it’s not easy! Our little baby is as clingy and needy as ever so vlogging has definitely taken the back seat lately. But today, we were semi-successful! Waking up and breastfeeding Scottie the whole day has been my daily cycle lately 😅 The new momma life is taking over me - not that I’m complaining though. I’m truly grateful for this experience. It’s hard but nothing has made me feel more complete 💗
I hope you guys enjoy this vlog even though half of it is just me with boobs out feeding Scottie lol. There’s a mini breakdown here too in case you’re up for a bit of reality drama 😂 enjoy!

My psychology professor said (years ago) that when a baby cries and is comforted by his mom, the baby feels more loved and becomes more open to his parents (as he grows older). So I think you’re right 😊 There’s really nothing wrong daw if you carry him while he cries 😊

I like how Slater supports his wife especially on her breakdowns. I am not a parent or married but I always enjoy watching Kryz' vlogs on taking care of Scott. The journey of a new parent looks amazing to me. Mrs. Young's vlogs are still new to me and I am so proud of her for being such a dedicated mother.

Hi Kryz! fellow new momma here with my 4 month old little girl. The first 3 months (also has been termed the "fourth trimester") is very trying for mom and baby. Baby is just adjusting earth side after being so cozy and snug for 9+months in your belly. I've also been told "wag mo sanayin sa karga ang baby" BUT you can never spoil your newborn! Just give all the love and cuddles he can get. I find lots of skin to skin too helped with my little one's fussiness

auuuhh.. I'm a first time mom too and definitely felt the same more than 2 yrs ago.. it's so normal.. regarding kay baby Scotie that he won't stop crying, malamang nga kinakabagan sya, try to tap his tummy, if it feels naninigas or matigas, it means may kabag. what i do na turo ng parents namin and mga lola lolo, pahiran ng aceite de manzanilla. pero d naman naniniwala doctors. pero i stilladapt it kasi noong araw pa un na ginagawa sa babies pg kabagin. i still choose to believe sa matatanda na madaming experience :) also, i love how sweet you two are .. praying na you'll be the same until mgng lolo at lola na kayo.. GOD Bless Kryz and Slater and baby Scotie and Sky.. hehe such a beautiful family 😍♥️

Na remember jud nako akong first few months in motherhood ani nga vlog.
    * 1. Baby crying inconsolably, you did everything, and you want to cry too because you really don't know what to do.
    2. #1 struggle: You don't know how to put your baby to sleep.
    3. The mom bun. The most trendy hairstyle for moms.
    4. Even having 5 minutes to yourself is a luxury
    5. Kanang maglisud ka sa imong milk supply. Breastfeeding is hard work.
    6. Kanang mapatulog nimo ang baby after 1 hour (or more) of karga karga, kanta kanta, etc. WINNER jud kaayo ang feeling ana, especially if 3AM in the morning.
    7. Kanang muhilak nga walay hinungdan or getting lost in your thoughts.
    8. Losing your sense of identity, especially if career woman ka tapos karun food supply ni baby na imong life goals.
    9. Kanang hubby nimo who's trying his best pero his best is not enough maskin unsaon. Like their boobs should breastfeed, too! Unfair kaayo 😂
    10. Kanang sige ra ka check if breathing si baby.
I could go on ani nga list. It's so overwhelming jud tuod. Pero kapit lang jud sizt. You are doing an awesome job. People will always have something negative to say, will always give their opinions on how you should do your job as a parent, pero just brush those things off. No one knows your baby like you do, so you do you.
Keep loving yourself pa din. You are the most important person in your child's life right now. So keep up the great work! Love you @Kryzzie!

Hi Kryz!!!! You are doing great! I am also a new Mom and my baby is now 18months old 😊 all that you are doing and experiencing is hard to accept that its normal haha why is it normal when its so hard right? Soak in all the emotions and be present in every moment because (I’m pretty sure you’ve heard this a thousand times but I wanna say it again) time flies so fast! Newborn stage is like a glimpse of their life that you’ll always want to remember 💕 cry with Scottie if you feel like crying, sleep with the baby when he’s sleeping, laugh when he laughs and just let it all out 💕 and also comforting a baby is never a sin and will never be wrong cause that’s what you are really supposed to do. Love you Kryz!

I never thought I would be able to relate this much to your life, you being kikay (and living in that dream house of yours lol). But I'm a first time mom (gave birth last May 26, 2020) with a high needs baby much like Scottie and I'm so glad I stumbled across this video. I've been a fan since your long-haired, digipermed phase and I am so amazed of the woman you've become! I also choose to comfort my baby in spite of what other, more experienced moms say because, like you, I can't bear the sight of my baby turning all red and sometimes purplish from crying so much. I have also read that you can't really spoil a child during their first 3 months of life. Attached parenting at the early stages actually lets them feel secure in your care and gives them the headspace to learn more about the world, without fear, and I would choose that any day over teaching them to become independent at such a tender time! (see the Babies series on Netflix for more info on babies. Love this series!)
    Hug, Kryz. Mommas help mommas.

Hello Ms Kryz! You are both doing a great job as first time parents! I read on the internet that in 2017 study shows you should pick up your baby every time he cries. Babies who are cuddled more grow up to be healthier, kinder, less depressed, more empathetic and more productive! So good job!

I'm a FTM too and it's been challenging but so worth it all. If you live in a very warm climate try to swaddle with muslin swaddle because babies produce a lot of heat and he may be overheating which can result in waking up. GL Mama, you're doing great 🙌

Super nakarelate ako super emotional while watching this. Hindi totoo yung "wag sanayin kargahin ang baby". They are babies. They need us the most during these times. Mamimiss dn natin yan paglaki nila and tayo lang meron sila this time so cuddle them as much they want to. You're doing a good job Kryz!!! I'm from India and not a mom nor married. But I do soothe my nieces by rocking them in my arms and sing or hum for pretty much an hour or two and that will help them to fall asleep. After they are in a deep sleep that's when I will put them down. I'm not sure about milking Scottie every 1/2 hour. I even don't know about the digestion for the baby but that's how I stay close with my nieces and even stop the crying as well as helping them to have a good rest.

Being a first time mum is total trial and error!
My babies were both swaddled - we used a ergo baby swaddler with the arms that you wrap and secure. Absolute life saver!!
My first baby held her breath crying and my mum suggested just a gentle blow of breath on her face - it kind of stops them in their tracks, and they startle out of holding their breath 🙏🏼 the frequent feeds could cluster feeding? My first cluster fed 😞 she used to go from 3pm- 7pm 😭 it lasted until 13 weeks (which the paediatrician said cluster feeding lasts to between 12-14 weeks 😳). It’s hard, it will pass and you can absolutely get through it. ❤️❤️ and if you’re worried, get things checked, that’s completely ok 😘 ps: in Australia we have a product called “Infants Friend” my second had the worst gas and held her poops and this stuff cleared her out 😬

  • @ielija
    @ielija 4 года назад

Each baby is unique...in case though, do try the swaddling, there are different kinds...white noise helps as babies are not used to a quite environment given when they were in the tummy, they were hearing a lot of noises inside our body...keeping them warm also helps...try swaddling him with wraps that has your smell...very effective for my baby. 😁 don’t worry, which ever you try and stick with, what’s important is that your baby will feel secure and loved. 😍 you can do this Momma 💕

Hi Ms. Kryz! If no one has said this to you yet, YOU ARE DOING A GREAT JOB! I'm a first time mom too and I can totally relate to your struggles. No one taught us about the 4th trimester, which is the 1st month of our newborn babies. I was able to get passed through it with the help of side lying position. Try it. It will make you and baby's life so much better. Just make sure that you and your baby are on tummy to tummy position, place a bolster at your baby's back to make sure that he is secured on side position and you can place your pregnancy pillow at your back too so that you'll be comfortable. All you gotta do all night is to let your boob out.
Also, don't mind those people who say that "baka masanay sa karga" remember this, MINSAN LANG SILA BATA 😊

Hi I'm a mom too and a nurse. A mom of 3. For his startle reflex maybe try the ready made swaddles. there are some that have the baby's hands up if that's what the baby prefers. Maybe that can help him not wake up when he startles himself. For the spitting up, ask your dr about acid reflux. it's common for babies that don't sit up yet. so maybe elevate his head when lying down after feedings. if he's really in pain some drs will prescribe famotidine for it. when my kids where gassy i will use the frida thing na iniinsert sa pwet so to assist the baby to realease gas plus some leg and tummy exercises.

Mommy Kryz... You're doing a great job dear. Just embrace the moment. I remembered asking the pedia about the feeding interval for EBF, she told me wala...it all depends on d baby. If d baby wants to nurse every 5mins then every 5mins it is. They'll always be hungry coz bmilk digest super fast compare to formula milk. ;) my li'l maddie still latches up to now and she's already 3 1/2 😄. Pedia said if kaya until 5yrs old...do it. She's done it din daw with her youngest. 🤗🤗🤗 play music and make normal house activities and noise when baby's sleeping... seems like they like it better....but as soon as it becomes super quiet that's when they wake up and starts crying 😃😃😃

True.. seeing an infant cry is heartbreaking. I think "di pa anaron ug kugos" is an old folk's tale anyway.. I read from another mother saying that you should do want you feel your child needs, all the love, hugs, carry him, sway him to sleep. Do it all coz he's gonna grow up so fast and you won't be able to do all those things anymore. Ayaw gyud tuo anang mga "ayaw anara" I've been told that a million times na! hahaha I baby needs all the love. that's it.

Been exclusively breastfeeding my baby girl for 3 yrs now. And i can totally relate, until now, how breastfeeding soothes my baby. Ok lang yan, sabi nga nila breastfed babies tend to be more extra extra clingy. 😂 i am a first time mom din, and so nakakapraning if you don't know what makes your baby cry much. Pero as you go along, you will learn din naman. Kaya kapit lang momsh! We are with you on this journey. Naisip ko lang, baka feeling "gassy" si baby scottie kaya iyak nga iyak. Pedias dont believe in "manzanilla" for baby's tummy, but it helps din siguro i think. Di lang madami ang ilalagay.

Psych major hereee. First 3 months ni baby kailangan talaga siya icomfort agad pag umiiyak siya. So tama lang po yung ginagawa niyo

Hi Krizzie, my sister gave birth to her princess this June and she found a video on the youtube that has the baby crying sound meaning. As i remember, the interview done by Oprah, and actually it works. We got the sign from our baby like for example the sound ' NEH' means she's hungry. You can check it out! Hope it helps! Im happy for baby Scottie and for the fam ♥️ Im a fan of yours ;)

Hi Kryz! Have you checked with his pedia about a ‘Colic Baby’? When my daughter was a newborn, she was also so clingy and wouldn’t stop crying until fed. I only had few minutes in between & she’d start crying again. On the side note, she doesn’t like pacifiers. I checked on my pedia about it & she said that I should be careful on what I’m eating. I had to consume a lot of oatmeal back then to help ease her tummy & limit foods with allergens. But as time goes by, you’ll get to understand him better. I was overwhelmed too when I had my first, I was just 23y.o., no househelp just me & hubz but we had the right mindset to get things thru. Now, she’s 6 & wants a sibling! I don’t think I’ll be able to do things back to zero. 😅 Kuddos New Momma! You got this 💪🏻

Could relate as being first time mom too, find it difficult to juggle being a mom and a wife at the same time. they said that's the '4th trimester' from newborn to 3 months. I found relief after 3 months, now my baby is 5 months I'm enjoying the process now.

I know for a fact that using manzanilla is not recommended. But whenever my almost 3wks old baby is crying and i feel like she has gas. I put a tiny drop of it on my finger and rub it on her tummy. Few minutes after that she'll poop. I am experiencing the same, just make scottie feel that ur there to comfort him. Everything will turn out well 😉 We can get through this! 💪

Don't worry about comforting him too much. I did that to my daughter too. Trust me, its okay. Mingawon raka when he doesnt need your comfort anymore. Before gahilak nko thinking when pa kaha mahuman ang ka kapoy coz my baby only sleeps on my chest. but niabot ra gyud ang time nga dli na sya and you miss it. try to use a pacifier.

Hi kryzy. When I had my baby for the first time I was here in U.K. got pregnant and endure it alone, gave birth alone, travelled to Philippines alone, I’m a sole mom. With the help of my family thank God for a very good line of family, they took care of my son and with a heavy heart I went back to work here in U.K. as a nurse. I have to work for my son. But during his first month here OMG because it was October he had sniffles at an early age like his first week. And there’s no decongestant for 0-6 months here unlike in Philippines you can just ask the pharmacist. And they will give you one. So I didn’t had any choice but make hot water with vicks vaporub and we did suklob in a blanket. Next problem he keeps on having trapped air here there’s this medicine that you can give a new born for trapped air. And it do work but you also need to make the baby burped more. And a dummy or pacifier really helps to soothe him rather than keep on giving our boob when we know that our baby is so full. And also the last one he sleeps well when he sleeps on my chest after feeding and let him suck a dummy. Then I join my child in sleeping too in that way I gain energy. You’re lucky slater is there to help you carry him while you’re eating or showering. But me no one. So after I bathe him in the morning feed him I swaddle him put his dummy and let him sleep then I ran to the shower. That’s my story.

I can relate specifically when you exclusively breastfeed. It was very challenging for me. Backpains, you have no time for youself. Not able to enjoy shower. Bisan paglibang and ihi mg dali2 😄😄😄 but i can say that it’s all worth it! I exclusively breastfed my lil one for 3years. I always had breakdown. I’m always alone whenever my hubby goes to work. It’s really tough and not an easy job. My lil one is turning 4 soon. And i miss her being a baby that I browse her old videos amd photos😅. You can do it kryz!

It's normal po. Relate na relate ako sayo noon ngayon 16 months na baby girl ko. Grabe struggle is real gud.
Try mo ipa sleep sya ng pa side then always bring rosary. Pwede malapit sa ulo nya while sleeping. Ganyan daw mga babies iyak ng iyak hindi sila komportable. Lalot pa hindi pa sya na baptist. God bless you.

Don't worry po sa lungad, it is normal kasi hindi pa naman ok ang digestive system nila. Feed on demand lang po kayo wag nyo po orasan kasi hindi naman puro for food ang breastfeeding, it's for comfort din. I think nag growth spurt po si baby mo. So more more feed lang po. You are doing a great job po.
