The only other Stereotype I've rarely seen for Librarian is an 'Anti-Chaplain', a semi-roleplay oriented take where the Librarian harasses the Chaplain, with the ultimate goal of stealing the Chaplain's book to file it under 'fiction'.
Not really a stereotype, maybe "hivemind megaproject engineering", but one time the entire engie department wanted to do a big project and so we decided to move the ame to atmos and then cut off the main engineering department from the station and turn it i to a shittle powered by a tesla engine. It took all shift and the results were incredible. I've never seen anything similar done before.
Chess Master is a librarian type I see the most often - just a librarian with a chess board who'll stop at nothing to get the captain, the HoS or the engineer trying to repair the station to play a game of chess.
i remember once trying to be a curator, with random junk i found around the station, got all these fancy display cases setup only for one person to come into the library say it was nice and leave.
Ive also done a shift where I rolled syndie librarian, and decided ended up somehow being the mastermind behind like a group of 7 syndies without even leaving my librarian desk. it was great
the only librarian I've seen to actually do any role play involving their books and library (beyond dnd) was a syndie using the books as a stealthy way of communicating with other traitors
some stereotypes i have encountered: Super CMO, takes the job of paramedic, chemist, and doctor. might forget that they are command staff. useful on lowpop, annoying if they take the chems job without asking first. Battle Medic, ready for anything. Armed with hypopen and cuffs, lone nukies beware. don't tide in their med, lest you wake up in sec. doctor with a voidsuit, neglects being a paramedic, just there for the voidsuit. the pyromaniac, grabs a welding tank, asks cargo for water guns, and hands out fire-not-extingushers. by the time the shift is over several players will have become quite crispy. robot factory worker, always asking cargo for mats. 5-10 borgs by end of the shift (with salvage or good cargo), to busy pestering cargo to do sci, gets mats for rest of sci if not so self centered. the workplace incident, this salvager is never heard from again. The Tyrant of Cargoina, moves the request computer into his office at round start for no reason. Probably only exists because they predict Revs. Sci is not getting mats. The sad brain. dont force them to play borg, you monster. the confused by asimov, unsure wether or not to give the tider insuls from engi. they are trying to play borg by its laws and not screw over the station, but are very conflicted. The Starman, is going to survive this shift. they build a small ship and drive it around, nothing will affect them. only good for loose tesla or singulo, and for anyone stranded in space.
I def fit Into the robot guy role! On a good shift I get 1+ borgs for each department, not counting bots! On a bad one engi is shitengiing aaaand there is no power
Bartender stereotypes are very accurrate lol, used to main tender and did a mix of Chemist and Smooth Talker. I made a menu of like five or six custom recipes, and I have it written down somewhere. To any aspiring mixers, if you care about drink secrecy, use a coupe glass, as it wont give a reagent name, unlike the usual glass. If you ever see a Kellie manning the bar, see if they a custom menu.
Theres a lizard who used to play on mander back when i did. Not sure if he still does. Pretty much exclusively played librarian. Id always see him on the evac shuttle dragging paperwork with mask and o2 on. He'd also usually label every book/pen/item in the library and remodel or organize the place.
Another setreotype of librarian i haven't seen in the comments yet is the noob who doesnt wanna play passenger, they mostly just roam hallways learning controls, Roleplay 1/5 Robustness 0/5 Annoyance 1-2/5 Sweat 0/5 Rarity: rare (any type of librairan is rare)
You missed one librarian type which isn't relly a type but is a type Writer Roleplay - 0 Robustness - 0 Annoyance - 0 Sweat - 0 to 5 They couldn't be bothered to open a .txt file (or want to see what their .txt file looks ingame) and have decided to take up actual space to write down something and NEVER show it to anyone really

My favorite way to do librarian is to be the tour guide and teach newbies the basics.
The ultimate trainer role! Should honestly have some guides written up as books for this

13:19 shotgun tider is more common than an actual bartender

When I play librarian, I do actual librarian work, I even tried to implement that one sorting system into the library.
I saw a dude as a librarian ONCE who threw books at people telling them to read

Yay! New video! 🔥
once you get to HoS you better not roast me...
My first ss14 round was a D&D session. it got ruined by swarms of spiders, this was so long ago
you forgot the "Eldery" stereotype librarian. who just roleplay as an old person
You missed one librarian type which isn't relly a type but is a type
Writer
Roleplay - 0
Robustness - 0
Annoyance - 0
Sweat - 0 to 5

One day as a librarian I made a first chapter of a OC's story because I felt like to do a cringe worthy story and they told me it was great! 😂
