I totally understand why you'd feel guilty receiving a laptop. It's often kind of contradictory that "influencers" you see online, who are often already wealthy, get things for free to promote companies, whilst others might not be able to pay for themselves. But Nayna you handled that super maturely and it's good to see that you realise the privilege :) and you do deserve it!!

FYI ear candling is a massive scam! The wax you can see is actually just from the candle itself, not your ear, and the process can actually be dangerous as well, so be careful xx

Loved this video! So niice and chill 🥰. But you should know that the ear candles are actually quite dangerous because the wax can get into the ear and extremely difficult to remove or could burn you. Also, i read that its a scam and what you see on the inside is actually just from the candle wax itself. You can test it out by just lighting one of them and you‘ll find the same result on the inside of the candle. Please be careful! 🥺 (Also Claudia Sulewski explained it in her recent video as well as she used it on her boyfriend too in her previous video without being aware of the danger)

just fyi, if ur spf is a chemical one, it needs to under your moisturiser as it only works by soaking in to your skin. if its a mineral one, you’re good!! 💛💛
The moisturiser she uses is not heavily occlusive so it doesn’t reduce the effectiveness of her spf.
But there also hasn’t been any conclusive studies on this
As long as she waits for her moisturiser to soak in before applying her spf she should be fine😊
I’ve been at uni for about two weeks and it honestly hasn’t been as bad as I thought doing online class. u can plan ur time out and for me the fear of missing an assignment has pushed me to be productive! also u end up having lots of free time for urself or to see friends :,)

a little tip though, the tip of the pen is pretty fragile. the black part encasing the gray tends to break off so i recommend being careful with the force you use :) you can always buy new ones and they're easy to replace on your own, but it's always good to keep your things in good shape. have fun, love! i hope you share your designs with us if you feel like it

My uni is going for 3 hours of in-person teaching a week so I feel a bit happier about it than the way last semester ended! Thankfully online went well for me but I feel like that was because all of the teaching was already finished by the time we went online. I love your vlogs & Edinburgh does feel pretty safe just now the city doesn't feel too different either which is nice x

I loove this type of chill vlogs. Btw the air candle can be dangerous since when the candle burns some dirt can get deep into your ear. It also doesn't really work, the wax you see at the end is not from your ear but from the own candle (it produces that as it burns) Just letting you know since I was about to buy it but then I did some research and found out the bad effects of it. Love you Nayna!

April 2019, i got a new expensive phone, from my uncle, as a belated gift for my success in the baccalaureate (exam that high school seniors take in order to go to uni). I cannot tell you how guilty i felt. I kept thinking i don't deserve it and all the hard work I'd done was just my responsibility as a student; a mission i had to accomplish.
That feeling is terrible. I went through it, and up to this day i still think i don't deserve the gift I've had. Am just thankful for this.
