Looked at the Plunge Pop Up, but ended up purchasing a Pro IcePod from The Pod Company coupled with a DIY chiller install. So far so good. Thanks for all your helpful videos!
After numerous trips to the hardware store, I didn’t have any luck finding anything that would work. I called customer service to see if they could help and no dice. That said, they do sell a set of hoses on their website, but again, I don’t know what size the chiller side would be. I gave up. 😂
Just to clarify, any DIY chiller would work with this as long as the plumbing coming out of the pod is reduced down to fit the chiller? Or did Plunge use some kind of proprietary fitting?
Devin, sorry for not clarifying more. So after filming I spent a consider amount of time trying to find a PVC connection that would fit the Pop-Up and was unsuccessful. Plunge sells a hose set for about $25, but again, I'm unsure what size the connections would be on the chiller size. It was a little frustrating despite how much I loved the integration with the pod.
@@ben_chill appreciate the follow up. That's a shame that they aren't being a little more forthright about it, clearly an attempt to sell their expensive chiller but oh well.
You answered so many of my questions. Thank you for the video.

You did the right thing. Thanks for watching!
Did you end up finding any way to hook up a standard 3/4 inch tubing chiller to this? Or its all proprietary connections?
