We had an Umbrella Cockatoo for 23 years until my husband died. Then I found a good home and moved in with family with very young children. Every day was filled with Cockatoo antics and dancing and fun. Cuddles was a dancer, singer, a hugger, loved to open wrapped gifts, ate almost everything we ate plus pellets, we loved her so much! Constant entertainment.

Just thought of this while watching the little guy pulling out wooden sticks out of a glass cup- do these little guys know they are entertaining the heck out of us humans? 😂😅😊. I absolutely think they do because they seem to relish from our laughter and watching them crack us up! Also, notice how they are constantly looking at us look at them with big smiles of encouragement 😮😊😂. I just LOVE PARROTS- ALL BIRDS, IN FACT.❤

It's a Galah and yes, it's eating a chili. Birds don't have the hot spice taste buds like us.

It's also a good way to scare off squirrels from your feeding platform, though some squirrels love chili, most don't
