I love this song, it just so close to me. My name is Isaac, my relationship with my dad has never been easy. You really have to earn their love. But my mother, oh God my mother's heart is what keeps me here, what keeps me going. She's everything to me. A mother needs not to learn to love you. They just do it. And they love you so totally.
I know what you mean. And because of this song I understand: A mother needs not to learn love! Beautiful said! I had a hard time with my mum. We never had a connection. She died 3 year's and a half ago. I just got birth from my beautiful daughter. The first time I heard this song while dancing with Lily. I cried like hell. I felt the love for her and so much more and at the same time I realised how much my mother loved me.. Thank you Bear's Den for this song!!
my name is Isaac and it is the same
Im a mum too, but way diff from my mum. Wish everyone has the same mothers.
@@rachelpacres2459 Same here, Rachel.
This year at Glastonbury, when they finished this song with that line "I'm gonna give all my love to you", the crowd were singing it, and kept singing, the band stopped and we all carried on. It was such a magical moment, everyone there, the band included, just looked so happy.
+George Gavin This is beautiful.
+George Gavin thats actually wonderful! I wish i'd been there to experience it. Next time :)
I was there :3 They're so amazing live
This happened at Albert Hall on Friday as well :)
This is gonna make me look like the biggest fanboy, but I was at the Albert Hall as well as Glastonbury! SO MUCH love for this band, they never get old do they?! :)
my daughter was born yesterday and is currently resting on my bare chest while my wife sleeps upstairs. I put some music on to help us both relax and couldn't help staring at her during those haunting last few lines. beautiful.
So much love to you, your wife and your new baby. Having this song as a love letter to your daughter is the beginning of an extraordinary life and bond between you two. all the best on your journey x
+Lewis Foster This is beautiful to read. Very moving. Thank you.
+Lewis Foster This is beautiful to read. Very moving. Thank you.
+Lewis Foster This is beautiful to read. Very moving. Thank you.
Lewis Foster so happy birthday to your daughter
They're slowly becoming one of my favourite bands, but they sing in EXACTLY THE RANGE that I can't reach LOL
Sounds like time for a Key Change!! Enjoy the hot tip; I look forward to your acxomoanying RUclips Cover Link here. Xoxo!
This band is SO under-rated. One of the best musical groups of the 21st century, IMHO.
love this song, it makes me cry because of my son Isaac. We was told we would find it hard to have children, then blessed with 3 beautiful kids in 5 years. My 1st sons name is Isaac. And i can relate to the meaning of this song hence why my boy is called Isaac.
Only this song and "Noah Clouds - Love is not enough" give me that feeling that you just can't explain.
Lucy Ren YOU ARE RIGHT
Lucy Ren I love Noah Clouds. Thanks for sharing.
+Lucy Ren you should look up some of justin vernons/bon ivers or damien rices´songs just a little tip i get this "feeling" from these two at times too but thanks for sharing Noah Clouds i just fell in love o.O cant stop listening
Noah Elsayed ldgtffhjhhjkkjb
This song as well as "Agape" brought me to tears.
Lyrics:
Isaac are you listening?
I watched it from above
I watched as the clouds began to part
Isaac can you see me now?
I have known you all my life
I worship the ground you walk upon
Isaac will you never learn that a father's love must be earned?
Well your mother need not learn.
Isaac I have never seen you look so afraid
with your hard pressed so hard against the stone.
You looked so alone.
I'm gonna give all my love to you...
-(not enough room for the rest)-
Growing up, no matter what I did, my father never did love me. Even if he did, he didn't show.
I grew up watching him and mother fight most of the time. It's so hard sometimes, that I think nothing can satisfy him. No matter what I do, nothing will make him happy.
I'm currently studying in medical school and yet he thinks highly of my cousins who've started earning better and are more successful even though they're elder than me.
No logic whatsoever, but thank you for this song. I was really suicidal last night and from the past few days but your songs help me a lot. Thank you.
Nothing is with giving up your life. Hold tight.
I give all my love to you mate
I'm gonna give all my love to you
Something about this kind of music makes me so happy. It gives me chills. It makes life even more wonderful
This is so Awesome and Beautiful makes me feel like a good person who is on the Right Path to be on with All of us as God's Children
that banjo 😍
Bears den: My brothers, thank you so much for what you do. I am overwhelmed at your generosity. If any of you are missing a Mother, or Nala, I would happily feed your soul. Thank you. {Staying within the social boundaries, here...}
Saw these gents yesterday at Edmonton International Folk Festival, they were an absolute delight. I want them back next year, on the main stage!
I'm so in love with this.
WOW, very nice song!
This is real music he
This song is one of my favorite songs of all time and I am not young. The honesty, muscianship and the rawness is what keeps me here. Thank you for this, it feels so good.
Ganz einfach toll mein Sohn. Diese Musik lasst Tränen rinnen. Habe heute eine traurige Nachricht erhalten. Lg. Mom
I saw you at a music festival in Austria with my best friend. We got there by chance and were waiting for George Ezra, when you came on the stage. We fell so in love with your music in a second and were so charmed, that we still listen to your music today. I believe that you're such a great band as The Lumineers for me. Love from Czech Republic 💙
Mumford and Sons. :D I love finding more bands like these two.
I love how they use the banjo in their music. It is somewhat unexpected. Most people think country or bluegrass. But in this case, it's more of a traditional folk style. It adds a pleasant color to the overall sound definitely adds intricacy with the harmonies. Actually. a banjo can be played many different ways, creating different moods.
YOU GUYS ARE LEGENDARY!.. Mumford, Verve, Oasis, No one, can compare!! As musicians though, and as people!! We all just gel!, But most of all is the talent and ambition, and the strength you bring and share, is incomprehensible. THANK YOU!
So beautiful! and I'm not just talking about your beards...
was sort of talked into seeing these guys in NYC this month... if this is anything to go by I'm in for a treat. Kudos.
did you enjoy the show? i saw them in boston a month ago, and they were fantastic.
There are songs like that which make you feel so sensitive !
You guys are unbelievable, when I stepped into that little room at Motel Mozaïque a couple of hours ago, I never expected this to happen. Please keep making music, release a full length as soon as you can!
Saw them live a couple of days ago on Eurosonic, they were extremely amazing! Amazing sound.
all I feel is happiness and hope and music.
My friend isaac who loves burgers loves this song.

saw these guys at greenman festival. i saw loads of great bands but the emotion of their performance has stay with me, i wish them so much good luck for the future. and thank you for giving me such a wonderful moment. you will always have the greenman
I saw them at both places, and met with them yesterday (the amphitheater)! They were the most humble & down to earth musicians I think I've ever met. Such a good band!
I was in Toronto two days later for the Gentlemen of the Road Tour as well. They were spectacular! People went up to the vendors after the concert and kept asking for the Bear's Den album, and they were all sold out. I'm not surprised about that! Great band.
can't even put into words what this song just did to me..
thank you for doing what you're doing guys, your music means the world to me!
they used to have a band called cherbourg. Im glad they are back...
I'm really finding all the good stuff during quarantine and I can't be more happy thanks to songs like this. Loving this band so far!
I'm not certain, but I think it might be about Isaac, in the Bible, who was loved by his mother but his father preferred his older brother, Esau. Isaac tricks his father into giving him the blessing that was meant for his brother. This blessing could only be given to one son, hence 'I'm gunna give all my love to you'.
These guys make RUclips worthwhile.
The sound quality of this video is just rocking! Love it
these guys make the most beautiful music!
No i was front row right up against the stage so I wasn't gonna give up my spot and watch Mumford from the back. They killed it though so good

Absolutely great. Song of the year 2013! Saw them in Cologne as support for Ben Howard and instantly fell in love with the music. Even my 11 year old son is a huge fan now as I had the CD in our car when we drove around in our summer vacation in Sardinia :-) Can't wait to see you again and to own a whole CD.
