I would be very interested in how you clean and press the books you find. CGC charges a lot to do it themselves. I have many books that I need this done to so there is a chance to save quite a bit
To clean a book you want a dry cleaning sponge or a good eraser. Very gently wipe in one direction try to stay away from colored areas. Be extremely careful around the edges. To press buy a t-shirt press on Ebay or Amazon..... There are tons of videos about cleaning and pressing on RUclips just look it up I started months ago and it works great... Practice on garbage books 1st.
Nice! I finally bought the whole "Batman: Year One" run to add to my collection. All newsstand copies. Not huge, I know, but still pretty neat for a bat-fan like myself, imo.
Now THIS was a collection worth buying. As soon as I see Silver and Bronze Age X-Men my eyes get a little wider. I'd love to get a copy on Uncanny #100 as the one I bought off a spinner rack is a beater. Avengers 196 is another comic I got for cover price and one small pandemic blessing is there's still time to get it slabbed. Mine is probably a 9.4. I think you want to sell it before the movie, not after. Villain keys rarely continue to rise.

One of the books was a teen titans 12 and it unfortunately came back a 9.0. What option do you think I could make more money from? Selling the 9.0 slab as it is or cracking the slab open and sell it raw.
Sold my physical collection back in the eighties for £25,000, when I need a house extension for my growing family. Loft and garage filled with physical comics. Worth a lot more but only one realistic bidder. Digital only these days.

Me and my wife have been buying small collections and lots here in Michigan and it’s tough people post there comics on the fb marketplace or on Craig’s list and then you ask them how much they either don’t have a price or if they do when people inquire about them they say they need to look everything up and still never come back with a price. Or you’ll get the 3k for 500 comics that are all dollar bin comics. My wife and I are more of comic hoarders I’m always building runs only selling duplicates and titles we don’t collect.The east coast must be a lot better for buying. The Midwest is rough. Great collection I’m definitely envious on that whole new 52 runs. :)

I've been going back and forth on selling my collection lately. Debts and potentially moving to a tiny apartment in Japan soon... but after organizing the collection and now sucked back into RUclips comic videos, I think I'd rather keep collecting. :D Especially when thinking about how shops and such would probably offer me like 1/20th of the actual worth. :\ I've been kind of binge watching your videos the last couple days. I am not the biggest CGC fan but enjoying the content! Keep it up. :)

Check the graders notes. Maybe all of the defects can be fixed with a press. Then it would be worth it
