What a great tune, the first was very good but this version is even better. God I miss the good old days when music was music not just noise like the today's what the younger generations call music.

Very kind of you to send me the link. Reminds me of the day I toured Jim Reeves house/museum almost 30 years ago. Unfortunately I think there is something very obvious about your rendition. I am not a musician so I can't explain it in technical terms but it is as if I can hear the strings being played like elastic bands as well as the musical sounds they produce. Update - it's growing on me!
Great version. Wonder if you've ever recorded 'North to Alaska' Eric - must search your channel to find out. If not, it makes a good instrumental - gutsy and yet melodic.
