YUNG BAE (formerly known as Dallas Cotton) is a man riddled with funky goodness.
Like his future funk cohorts, the L.A.-based producer taps influences that are as varied as they are danceable: disco, funk, R&B and even Japanese “city pop.” These largely sampled grooves - obscure and otherwise - manifest as undeniably vintage sounds presented in gleaming, modern electronic trappings. Bae has worked many Asian artists and labels, including the 88 Rising Crew. With collabs and support from the likes of Mura Masa, Josh Pan, and Louis the Child, Bae's support has grown tremendously. He's also started to work with Kendrick Lamar on remixes.

Saw dude open for griz last week. Blew griz' set clear out of the water without hardly any of the lights or gimmicks, just a dude mixing a crazy good set, hands on the mixer at all times just about. Definetley my favorite new dj on the market.

Espero que en el set del Corona Capital mezcle más rolas de el que de otros artistas, por ejemplo aquí hay más R&B, Nu disco y french house que future funk, son buenos generos y buenas rolas las que mezclo pero en mi opinión yo quisiera que mezclará rolas de sus primeros discos ya que es la primera vez que viene a México y uno espera mas esas pistas de futura funk para disfrutarlo un poco mas, es mi humilde opinion y de todas formas ahí estaré bailando como pendejo hahahaha!
