God, after beating Endwalker last night, and then listening to this, it made me tear up. Yea, this does hit different, and it's amazing how it all just neatly falls into place.
Opening Theme "1" I see what you did there. And it fills me with joy. Also, this has shot up to one of my favorite tracks of all time. This is a representation of 11 years of a life shaping game, encapsulate perfectly. Thank you to You and everyone involved, Alex.

You know what, I won't be ashamed to admit this; I've almost lost hope in my composing skills, feeling like I'm just hitting wall after wall of creative blocks - to the point i've practically halted my attempt at creating a career out of music. This track Alex, that you, Husky and Nicktendo created ... It's re-awakened the Light of Music inside me. Darkness nearly took hold and snuffed it out... Thank you, fellow Warrior of Light, for guiding me back home
I've been there lots of times, almost gave up on music once. It gets better! I recommend you to just let yourself write whatever comes without judging it. That's what I did for my vocals here to be honest. I currently know SO many singers who would've done a far better job than me here, and I will very likely look back to this track five years from now thinking something like "oh my god my vocals were so bad back then". But that isn't a good reason to not write the music I can write today. Learning is part of the journey, and people will criticize you at every step of the way no matter how good you are. Critics don't matter tho, the only thing that matters is you having fun creating and sharing your joy with the world. So cast perfectionism aside and get back into the fray, embracing whatever comes. Something great will surely come out of it! At least, that's what I did when I was on the brink of quitting due to an incredible writer's block in 2015.

My inspiration for that specific portion was "Blinded In Chains" by Avenged Sevenfold. There's a passage in that song where the singer breaks out in one of the coolest rhythmic-singing verses I've ever heard personally! I knew we needed something similar in this passage so I tried to sing with a similar staccato rhythm there

To think of our journey: From killing wildnerness critters to prove ourselves "worthy" to be the envoy for a city-state coming back from the brink of Calamity To fighting the literal embodiment of universal despair at the edge of all known creation. There's one that already exists that relates to the game, but follows the story of a real player. There is an actual live action adaptation in the works, that I believe follows the stories of other characters in the world of Eorzea, but not the WoL/Scions.

I love the inclusion of lyrics and chords from the music and songs of previous patches, but you also twist them in a way that makes it your own yet a wonderful callback to our journey as a warrior of light. Wonderful job Alex never stop jamming these bangers out.

A year and a half later, it's still KICKING me how Denmo's lyrics make this feel like it was written by someone on the team, a time traveller, a psychic or some matter of those three, because DAMN. Sure, some of the stuff is pretty general, but some of it is pretty on the nose, it's insane.

They may have released that "Fly Me to the Moon" cover as an official thing, but honestly the song keeping me company waiting for the game to come up at Endwalker's release was this one. A year and a half later, it's still KICKING me how Denmo's lyrics make this feel like it was written by someone on the team, a time traveller, a psychic or some matter of those three, because DAMN. Sure, some of the stuff is pretty general, but some of it is pretty on the nose, it's insane.

They may have released that "Fly Me to the Moon" cover as an official thing, but honestly the song keeping me company waiting for the game to come up at Endwalker's release was this one.
