There is a lot of BTS songs that I personally think deserve more and House of Cards is one of them. The instrumental, the beat, the actual lyrics and the tone (almost The Weekend, RnB, etc vibes) is so unique, and I sometimes feel like these songs get forgotten or overlooked because they aren’t title songs or I guess “the regular vibe”. Apart from all the jokes, House of Cards is actually masterful in its musicality.

house of cards has a joking reputation internationally for being a sensual song since it sounds quite sexy i guess but it's actually very very sad and talks about a toxic relationship and the vocal line portrays the emotions beautifully so that's that. it's actually my second favourite bts song of all time.
I would say, I have never seen anybody in the international fan base to interpret this song as a sensual one. Far from it. I remember when I started to be interested in them, this was among the first songs I listened to and right before checking for lyrics I knew it was a sad song. How? Because the boys did not ooze sensuality, but grief and heartbreak. This idea of international fandom being wrong about the meaning of songs is such a misconception and such a prejudice... We do know how to read. And we do know how to check the best of the translations, not the lyrics videos.

Jimin was definitely on 🔥 that day. His voice...... Just wow. His rasp, the little growls he does, plus the high note. I look forward to jin's "no way" part soo much. It sounds so airy and lovely. It indeed was. Majority of choruses stand on his working horse shoulders, his breath control is unmatched, majority of backing up is his forte, majority of stunning ad libs are him again, he is their main vocalist for a good reason .-)

jimin’s style of singing in this song is so unique in comparison to his normal style because he’s belting in this song-and believe me when i say that belting is NOT easy
So true..., I have been wondering why can´t they sing more often in their normal register? Most of their songs are written only for sliver of their register. It is shame imo. I have, for one, always liked more Jimin´s belty, gritty, "dirty" register rather than his super clean highs ( that´s my preference). I am so glad there is tons of people liking and swooning over his angelic, pure, child like tone, but I am not one of them. I like his performance in "Who" with Lauv so much or in "Louder than bombs" - a totally different Jimin we know. I think that applies to all of them ( small usage of their true register) and Tae might be the only one who was allowed to show his full register more. Jin can go super duper low and almost growly but we seldom hear that. Or, have you heard JK`s "Decalcomania" demo? When I heard it I was blown away. He is almost unrecognizable there. His baritone low tones are so gorgeous, literally to die for but we never hear them as he is singing mostly in his head voice in majority of BTS songs. He has stunning mix too, but so seldomly used.

In my opinion this is one of the best BTS vocal performances, you can hear their voices so clearly and Jin sounds so relaxed and good here ! It's just so comfortable to listen to
BTS are just purely angelic! I always love to hear different members team up to harmonize together but this particular song its Jimin and JK's harmonizing that kills me. Literally one of my favorite songs ever and my most favorite b-side track.
BTS are just purely angelic! I always love to hear different members team up to harmonize together but this particular song its Jimin and JK's harmonizing that kills me. But you also cant deny V's high notes are beautiful amd Jin... Jin's smooth clear voice is perfection. This song is very much underrated.
They need to collab this with SADE. This is her type of music and her vibe. If they sang with her it would... my god... sound phenomenal.

This was The first song by BTS that i Got really really into. Just the instrumentals and their voices sound so beautiful. And I always feel so mesmerized when listening to it. I’ll just listen to it with a good headset and really focus on the music. Such a beautiful song
