I had no idea there was football in Mexico but it makes perfect sense, given the proximity and exposure to televised NFL games.
Look up the German Football League and the X-games. Germans and Japanese are crazy about Gridiron Football as well.
Knightwolf1994 definitely should be more German NFL players, their imports in the league consist of guys who barely missed NFL. Japan X Bowl is awesome too.

Why Mexico doesn't have a team in the NFL? I think is about time!
There has been talks to probably move a team to some place in Mexico, mostly on Mexico City or Monterrey Nuevo León, some of the teams that has been rumoufed are Jacksonville and Chargers, some poeple has been talking about creating 2 new expansion teams and sending one to London and one to Mexico, but in my opinion probably before the inf of this decade we are going to have a team in Mexico and in London.

Nice video. When I was student at UNAM I played football there and I had three games against IPN teams, exciting experience. UNAM stadium, the Olympic, was built to play football, not soccer. Amazing sport football is. Cheers!!

For many years this game had been considered like an hight risk event.
It was common that after and before the game, some people fought near the stadium like British hooligans. Ten years ago this game usually had been played without public and in other cities.
Now is allow play with people but is forbidden sold all places in the stadium.
There are violent groups called porros, most of them are not students. As it was said, those places help to keep them separated.

I really wish they would give Mexico City a team. I know it would fuck with the current structuring of the league, but if they could maybe throw a team in Toronto and then 2 other teams in some smaller market USA cities you could restructure the divisions and make it work. While European expansion sounds cool, it seems way less practical than NA expansion and honestly I feel like our neighbors deserve some love first before we start giving teams to the germans and the english. Countless Latino's will correct you by stating this ain't Football, it's Eggball or Americanized version of British rugby.
The NFL should work with the Mexican pro league, the German football league, and the x-league (Japan) They all seem to have the best followings outside of the USA, and Canada. Well really they should work with any pro league outside of the states. Rather than an XFL they should bring back NFL Europe. I think it would really takeoff this time. I love how thankful the players outside of the states are to be able to play football. Are players here thankful for it, or do they see it as a way to become rich? I never played football so idk what players are like. Lol one of my biggest regrets was not giving it a shot. I know I wouldn’t of been a super star, but I wish I could of enjoyed the team unity. Although I played other sports in school, there’s just something about football. I didn’t get into it until after I graduated.
I wish for it, but the NFL follows money, they want a market in London, that's why they have the academy there. Eventually when they there have a team in London, there will be super bowl over there.

henryjw15 Japan also has a really nice football subculture. Was watching their league (x-league) it was solid football, they also have a healthy college league. They’re actually said to be the 3rd best country after The states, and Canada.
@@aaronm8143 no, it’s academy that specializes training selected teenagers in the UK for them to get scholarships and play in the states at the college level with the overall goal to produce a NFL player.

Not true. The chargers are one of those teams with an ambiguous meaning in spanish, the literal translation would be "Cargadores".
In reality the closest thing in Mexico is a soccer team named "Rayos de Necaxa" (Necaxa Thunderbolts).
The only NFL team names I can think of that are the same in Spanish (that don't need translation) are Jets and Broncos.

A man has no name In the ONEFA until 1998 there are multiple champions and different almost every year, it wasn’t until 1998 that Borregos won them all. Before 2008 Tigres won only 2 championships! Do you know how many does UNAM and Poli have?
And after the breakup, Tigres has won 6 and Pumas 5, so no, they’re not the best. They couldn’t compete as well with the private schools at all. And only compete now, because although a “public” school, students pay 1000% more than what they pay in UNAM. So, they have a lot more budget.
