    This is great footage! I grew up in Miami and used to spot here with my dad! This video is from the late 80s. Republic didn’t exist in the 90s. They merged with Northwest in 1986. Also most of Eastern 757s didn’t have the 757 tail logo in the early 90s.

      I as well....but those last shot from head on look like Fort Lauderdale. The highway is way too low to be the palmetto!😆

      Yes, after 11:15 that’s FLL. That’s I-95 in the background.

    I was born in 76 near Boston. I went to fort Lauderdale right around this time to see my grandfather. There's an outside chance I'm in one of those planes LOL

    CASCADE AIRWAYS B 1-11 !!!! I think, this is the first time I saw this as moving image on video. I wonder what this aircraft had to do in MIA far away from its original route system? Up for sale after airline closed down, I guess ...
