Not in Venice, North Port
Building in Renaissance and moving late this year… really excited about it all.

Tell us how the community did during the storm..
Hi there Stephen! Great question. Wellen Park itself and all the communities there did very well. We actually visited the area multiple times just days after the storm (even showing people around). We stopped off at the welcome center, checked out the new downtown construction area & visited multiple neighborhoods (IslandWalk, Avelina, Gran Paradiso, Grand Palm, Sarasota National, etc.) and they all looked very good.
Obviously, there was some evidence of a storm with downed trees, etc. All structures held up extremely well. A few homes here and there had a bit of roof damage or water from overflowing pools, etc. but overall it looked very good. We even showed homes in multiple neighborhoods that had no damage at all.

@@ThatFloridaLife that's great news We'll be coming to your area next April to look around. We're living in the Philippines now we retired 7 years ago and moved here from Virginia where we lived for 30 years. But the plan was from the beginning was to move back to the States to spend our golden years in fla. Better health care facilities there than here.. So we'll see you in April for a tour of the community We're interested in a small two bedroom house or Villa. Nothing to big
@@stephenduling5024 Awesome! Yes, we remember chatting with you before. The beaches here will definitely remind you of the Philippines in some ways (that's why we love it here because they remind us of Thailand where we lived for quite some time).

Do you have to bid on properties/lots for the new builds?
Each community is a little differently but we are seeing more go to the bidding on lot releases. But it does change. If you want to know please feel free to reach out. Happy to help navigate.

Is it within Venice city limits or is it it’s own city?
Hi thanks for watching and the comment. This area is outside Venice city limits, even though many of the homes have Venice addresses. The area is quite large, and some of it is considered Venice while other parts are considered North Port and the Boca Royale community is considered Englewood. It is a little confusing as the area has evolved and boundaries have shifted. Hope this helps!
