What a great video! I've been a madness fan for the past 3 years or so, but one thing that immediately stood out to in the songs was the drumming. He's a pretty big inspiration to me musically, and if it wasent for him i dont think i would have started playing drums! I dont even know what it is about the drumming i like, but i feel maybe a little bit that he wasent able to display all of his drumming talent in Madness. He said in before we was we that he kind of just went along with the rest of the band, but songs like Turning Blue shows really how amazing a drummer he is, and it was those type of songs that really made me in awe of his drumming style. I started drumming when i was 11, and im still learning and trying to improve, but if it wasent for him, i wouldn't have discovered one of my favourite hobbies. And lets not forget, as seen in these interviews hes just a genuinely lovely lad.

I love Woody's drumming. As some others have said here, Turning Blue is a masterful piece of drumming, but there are so many good songs where his drums are amazing, and get me airdrumming!!!

Nice interview. Voice of the Beehive was such a fantastic band. And that Missy couldn't half dance! 😃

Great to hear i'm not the only one playing Madness and Ska nusic, who's actually more into rock music. Brett 'Wood he' ' Biggs - Complete Madness.

As a madness fan I’ve always felt woody has never been allowed to fully show his drumming skills to full effect, baring a couple of album tracks, Turning Blue on the keep moving album being an example. I remember him saying at least 40 years ago that he was not that interested in the early ska influences of the band and was just going along with it. Great interview. I know Chris Foreman (madness Guitarist’) is also a hard rock fan from the 70s
