The ultimate Babylon science speed runs include plenty of war and pillaging. Also, don't sleep on culture as a yield. You have like 240 science per turn by the end of the stream (about Turn 125), halved because of Babylon's civ ability. Having that much culture might be much more impactful for a speed run. I love this civ so much - so unique and such a fun final Civ VI stretch run game (I believe boosts are going away in Civ VII, which is sad because I love them).

hemetic unleashed mod with increased lay lines makes hermetic so much better. I enjoy playing with it in high science, high district games
Mendeleev (great scientist) triggers the Chemistry eureka... if he's still out there, that's a quicker way to get it versus waiting on an alliance.
Looks like you can 3 turn Terracotta in Babylon. That's a nice quick way to level spies.
