Hey Carl, we met years ago up in the sunshine coast, i played the caloundra festival and was hanging out with Brett from DUBARRAY and with the awesome Cronula band : Caravana Sun, as well as with the whole Byron crew, Fergo and others. . I have been watching your videos for a few days now and really enjoying them , I got interested and looked for Looper tutorials and there you were. i started looping a bit here and there and now am faced with the big decisions how much space on my pedal board , 2 track or 3 track looper for intermediate looper but advanced live musician . I gotta say - awesome stuff mate. If you ever come to Europe let me know. I have 2 questions : how much of your stuff could you play with only a 2 track looper in percentage ( arrangement wise ? and do you use a gate on Vox mike or always a seperate loop mike ,to deal with bleed into new loops? thnx keep going strong bro !
Hey mate!! It’s been a while🤙🏼 GRATS on getting into looping - I’d def go with a boss RC300 or something. Almost all of my loops I need 3-4tracks but that said, I’ve expanded to really use them all. Be sure to get the rhythm and fundamentals down on 1-2 tracks first tho! I use a mic mute, but always 2 mic lines!
I noticed you are not using your KSM.. Is there a reason because your vocals sounds really good with Beta? what do you think about SE V 7 and Sennheiser E945.. ? Could you give your opinion?.. And did your try Fender Acoustic Overdrive.. ? thanks for response.thanks your Videos.. You are huge inspiration.
Hey mate, I prefer the beta 58 for my all round option right now. Not a fan of the Senns until you get into the high end models but they are a little too bright for my sound. My overdrive is pretty complicated, The fender acoustic smolder is ok - not for me but for a simple single pedal it would do the job
hey carl love the video! i justed wanted to know how you did the extended loop? because your beatboxing is really short compared to the guitar chords... how are you doing that?

Thanks mate, its just in sync mode which allows each track to be any length as long as its a multiple measure of the 1st recorded track.

Thanks mate, it’s a custom one. But there’s a bunch of options. They are called an A/B xlr switcher. Radial do a great one. Hope that helps
Pretty new into looping so maybe I’m asking a stupid question, but… how exactly do you use the same mic for looping and singing?

… and the Headrush looperboard! I use one mic only with 4 different effect settings on the looperboard - no xlr switch needed…
what plugfs are u using to secure your acoustic guitar strap ? Am looking for a different system
Standard plugs, but I also use the coin sized rubber rings to stop the strap slipping off
