This song has made me cry even since the first time I heard it. I've been a "tough guy" since my early 20s thru my 50s, never backing down, never taking crap from anyone. Yet this song makes tears run down my face and this video in particular effects me so strongly. Not only is Shania's voice so mving to me, the bond between her and her horse is so moving. Driving fast in hot hatches (the Scottish equivalent of your hot rod racing), smoking and drinking hard since I was 18, trash food take-aways upstairs on the night bus, you name it, I have done it all, from the age of about 18 (I am now in my 40's). Most importantly, people who know me know that I, like you, mask my emotions. This video made me see through all that as well, and I hoped to pass this experience on; I was in Vegas recently, with two colleagues, Harry & John (also guys who don't take any pish from anyone and stand their ground) and we had hoped to see her perform this number. This has to be the single most spectacular entrance I've ever seen! I love Shania's voice when she sings in these lower keys. Also she would have been 49 or 50 when this was recorded. The horse is amazing as well! its no small feat for a horse to keep calm and follow queues in that kind of environment. I also see that Shania is BAREFOOT!! If you've ever worked with horses and had one stand on your foot you know just how gutsy that is.

Hello ~ it's June 2021, and it's been a rough June. I have always been an admirer and supporter of Shania through her life. I went to one of her concerts last year in Denver during her Queen of Me tour. It was amazing! Instead of a live horse, she had a motorcycle on stage! She sounded great! And she had dancers and visual effects on stage like this! She performed all of my favorite songs that I grew up on!
I'm willing to bet it was one of her own horses that she owned and had trained to kneel with her on it and made sure no one was on stage when she was on the horse to make sure no one spooked it. Wouldnt be good if someone spooked the horse and it bucked her off on stage.

This song is the definition of my relationship living in Canada. 11 years together… not accepted for being gay. Not accepted for dating a woman with kids. Not accepted for dating someone with minimal education. She got a job in the trades, supported me through school while taking care of her kids. I got a job making awesome money and so does she. This song is and will forever be my favorite song by Shania. I remember searching for this song in the stores when it first came out and not even realizing who sang it yet...a country singer. But I had to have this album. After watching the documentary on Netflix and then seeing this video. The song brings even more emotion than it did 25 years ago. How bitter sweet to write an epic song for someone who could betray you so cruelly. How amazing to regain your strength and love enough for a performance so wonderful as this. My heart will forever skip a beat with this song. Beautiful ❤️ ❤️ ❤️

I went to one of her concerts last year in Denver during her Queen of Me tour. It was amazing! Instead of a live horse, she had a motorcycle on stage! She sounded great! And she had dancers and visual effects on stage like this! She performed all of my favorite songs that I grew up on!
This makes me cry everytime I watch, seeing her and her beautiful horse together is so special ❤️😭😭
I'm willing to bet it was one of her own horses that she owned and had trained to kneel with her on it and made sure no one was on stage when she was on the horse to make sure no one spooked it. Wouldnt be good if someone spooked the horse and it bucked her off on stage.
Orlando Mike horses are bigger than us, it’s a trust thing, growing up I wouldn’t go near horses ever, but when I turned 20 I rode my first horse? For the mounted police training, the horse has to trust you🤭🤷🏼♂️

I was watching this video last week when I was in the bus going back home, it was a 6 hour bus ride, getting dark and just watching the countryside. The feeling was unexplainable it was magical and all I knew I was happy inside.
