Rise and Fall of The Xia Dynasty : The first Dynasty in the Chinese History

The Xia Dynasty (c. 2070-1600 BCE) was the first government to emerge in ancient China and the first to adopt the policy of dynastic succession. Consequently, the Xia was the first dynasty of China.
According to tradition, it was established by the legendary figure Yu the Great, after Shun, the last of the Five Emperors, gave the throne to him.

In the late longshan period (2600-2000 BCE) three clans became dominant....Youxiong clan was headed by Yellow emperor Huangdi...Shennong clan was headed by Emperor Yan and Nine li clan was headed by king Chiyu...Emperor Huangdi defeated Emperor Yan in the battle of Banquan and the two clans merged into one yanhuang tribe which later evolved into Huaxia civilization....the Yanhuang tribe was the ancestors of Han chinese....the Yanhuang tribes later defeated the Nine li clans in battle of Zhuolu and drove the nine li people to Sichuan plains where they later evolved into the Jiuli confederation and gave rise to the Miao and Hmong ethnic people....Zhuangxu grandson of Huangdi succeeded him in the region of youxiong....he was the originator of the Xia tribe a subset of yanhuang tribe....later his grandson Yu the great established the Xia dynasty which is often considere overlapping with the Erlitou culture....

This statement is wrong, the correct one is that Xia Dynasty replaced Yu Dynasty (Dadi Wan site, 7800 to 4800 years ago, with unearthed writing)
