U are great .Often teachers make lengthy lecture. So student like me don't like to watch . Ur way of expressing is nice and it's short duration makes it unique.thanks sir
Sir , you videos have helped me since the day I started seeing them until now. you are doing very good work sir. how can we ask some personal small doubts regarding some topic ?
I think eq: for 2nd half cycle -Vi + IR = 0 (+IR because polarity is change) => Vi = IR => Vi = Vo (IR = V0 because in parallel branch voltage drop same )
For the negative half cycle though the polarity of Vi changes, while using KVL we will have to consider the polarity sign for the positive half cycle of Vi. Hope this helps.lll
Sir in the example which you have explained why is the circuit unbiased, i mean you are saying there is no external DC voltage but how to know that there is no external DC voltage applied or not, can u please explain this sir.
If you understood the positive half cycle, you just have to invert the sign for the second half cycle, because the polarity just changes. Hope this helps
@@ojaspurohit5852 yes, i think the same. Applying KVL in 2nd Half Cycle, when the Diode is in Forward Bias, the KVL becomes: - v0 - vi = 0, hence, V0 = - vi. @Jeet Nadgouda, am I wrong?

good to hear topics that you are covering appreciable work for student
I love your micro lectures: they are easy to understand and clear as crystal. Thanks again.
sir we really need teachers like you in nit raurkela.videos are very helpfull.
Thanks u so much sir
It's save my exam
I think It's very useful for b.tech 1st year student During in this panademic .
My grade in B.tech 2-1 semester is 9.57.. 70% of this grade is because of your channel..
which college are you in bro
Some tips bro
Very good channel.all required circuits i found here.thanks to all of you and your channel
Thank you a lot sir!,your lectures really helped me a lot.
Neso Academy is the best
Your lessons are top notch
Hi sir,
Topics are to the point, and easily understand the difficult topics
Thank u
Nicely done.. Crystal Clear
nice lecture helped me through my exams

How it could be -vi in 6:58 when the polarity is in - to +
very helpful & easy to understand
😍😍 well explain sir👍
very neatly explained thank you sir
This video was helpful to me as i had a quiz today and no one to teach...
Thank you :)
konse college se ho?
Thank you so much sir because of neso i am able understand the concept easily
Thanx For Your Work.... it really helped me
very well explained .....thnq
Thanks a lot for your kind lecture
Nice explanation
Sir you are the best
Really bestt
Thankyouu🥺❤
very well explained thanks
kids binge watch series .....
legends binge watch your playlist one day before exam !!!
Thanks a Lot Sir
For -ve half cycle on applying kvl, the equation should be Vi+Vo=0
Equation depends on how you mark V0. If positive terminal on top, then you're correct
Yes
Vi+v0=0
I think the polarity of Vo reverses as the polarity of Vi does in the -ve half cycle. But it's not marked on the fig.
Sir I must say uh explains very well
what is the difference between clipper and rectifier
Thank you SIR
Will diode current be zero for both forward and reverse bias condition?
Thank you sir
very nice.awesome
so helpful.
in 7:36 why +Vo? it should also be (-) according to kvl
"By kvl counterclockwise direction, it should be
+Vi + Vo= 0
Then Vo = -Vi "
Im also thinking about that
then how is the wave
For the negative half cycle though the polarity of Vi changes, while using KVL we will have to consider the polarity sign for the positive half cycle of Vi. Hope this helps.lll
but why?
@@shibanidas7018 it's because when you have a negative alternation for an AC input, the voltage is also negative.
Sir in the example which you have explained why is the circuit unbiased, i mean you are saying there is no external DC voltage but how to know that there is no external DC voltage applied or not, can u please explain this sir.
😅Seeing this just before my MST's
7:24 kaafi kuch samajh me aane Laga hai. This is where I am starting my prep
is it applicable for both kinds (positive and negative)?
all is good but 2nd kvl is not right. focus on signs. then u dont need to do vo =-vi .. that you did yourslf
Please make video on Gate previous year ques. *From ece branch*
Please make a video on Thyristor
Please make video on special purpose diode(tunnel , varactor,Schottky)
Sir is this lectures usefull for jam physics exam?
Thanks
@Neso Academy
why the hell , the current is not dividing at nodes.
Ozm! Ty sir.
Sir we are providing input voltage then why it is unbiased? 🤔
I got confused in the sign convention when u used kvl on the 2nd half wave
If you understood the positive half cycle, you just have to invert the sign for the second half cycle, because the polarity just changes. Hope this helps
but sir if we use kvl after inverting the sign for negative half cycle then the equation will be Vi= -Vo
isn't it?

I too got confused , thats why came to comment section to look up for similar queries lol!
SIr here source is given that is a square wave so how it is unbiased?
Sir why did we use open circuit for Reverse biased and short circuit for Forward biased?
diode is ideal
went out huh? an that's my V ma'am's b day. "CLAPPA!"
small amount of voltage drop due to the diode (activation voltage).......can we neglect that ?
Small doubt i.e the representation of diode in both cases are same sir ,
What happens if it is not ideal diode
Sir , plz do video lectures on
Multivibrators chapter .plz plz
Bhai ye kis collage ya course se liye video hai mai btech 1st year mai hu
Very nice video but low sound quality.
Use headphones
I think u need ear surgery.
8:06 .... whistle
do you make these videos at night?
i admire your observation skills
the parallel clippers are also known as shunt clippers it seems.
Capacitor & inductors are not consists of clipping a ckt
Sir the kvl equation should be like this : +vi + vo = 0
Why doesn't the output voltage change polarity with the input voltage? I have had this doubt for a long time.
Hahaha me too!😂
what to do to develop perfect concept of this analog electroics
Vo will be -vi
Audio is not good :/
are bhai thoda tej bolle
sound is not good
