Sorry if you did mention this but one thing I would do is make a list of all the things I do need to revise and then, using the timetable you've shown, I would, each day, choose the topic from my list and write it in the slot. Once I've revised the topic, tick ✅ it off from my list just so that I can keep track of how much I've covered so I don't end up repeating something too many times-- if that makes any sense at all
And thanks for this-- it's so helpful especially as it's a method that has never crossed my mind

One thing I'd add is maybe try to put your revision timetable on Google sheets so you can easily update it and access it your computer at all times :) Keep this stuff up Vee big fan. So you would spend 10 day on subject one for 4-6 hours studying that subject but what about your other subject they aren't on hold you still have quizzes and homework for them when do you make time for those in your revision table please help me understand!!! This seems like it would help so much.

Hey I have a question! So my school basically teaches up until the very beginning of exams. How can I use this technique? Should I go ahead and teach myself the content so I can follow this technique or is there another? Also what about all your other school work? 6 hrs a day sounds like a lot especially if you have 8 hrs of school then another 4-5 hours of work, what should I do?

      So basically
I'm guessing if you have 12 topics to cover in a subject, your lecturer teaches about 10 and two are left some days or a week/two to exams??
What I do is I study every topic that the lecturer has taught vigorously.
What ever the lecturer decides to teache few days to the exam,I read it and just revise the older topics

I have my year 11 mocks in exactly 28 days and I wish I found this video earlier. Although I haven’t written anything down as it’s literally 1am I’m still very grateful as I’ve realised I really should get a move on and start.
We’ve just finished our half term well i have Sunday tomorrow (technically today) which I need to do two maths papers for homework, memorise 5 150word paragraphs in german for an exam on Monday, completely revise for a geography exam also on Monday and then pack my bag and actually mentally prepare to go back to school after a week.
So in conclusion I’m not doing so well I’ve just been crying and I plan to cry a bit more.
    I think my period’s coming.
Not that anyone actually gives a fuck.
What the hell am I doing
I should go to sleep I’m waking up early to start my work and even worse the clocks are turning back I think.

@@sophie_ttrblx8925 thank you, I apologise for my language I seem to have been very tried, stressed and therefore slightly agitated haha
I actually did quite well; I got five 9s, two 8s and two 7s, which although I’m very proud of, I definitely didn’t put 100% effort into them and could’ve easily achieved all 9s if I revised properly.
We currently have 2 months left till our actual exams now and I haven’t started revision either. You’d think after the first time I would learn, but nope, I have way too much coursework to do for iMedia, so much homework and I’m so tired all the time as I don’t give myself time to sleep or revise.
But good luck in year 7, be sure cherish the care free life of no exams hanging over your shoulders and most importantly, have fun in school and with your friends!! Wish someone told me the same thing :)

@@rab.ji would say to start revising, but i have 9 lots of homework due next week which i haven’t started at all. i hope you pass with flying marks, though!

i wish you luck in your future exams!

    • @rab.j

@@sophie_ttrblx8925 haha yes I aim to start as soon as I’ve finished my coursework since the deadline is this Friday… better pull my socks up and get it done even if it means a few days going with 3 hours of sleep 😅
I know you’ll get it done, I always leave everything last minute but still manage to somehow get it done to my best ability. Best of luck though :)
Aww no!! I understand the situation with friends can be so complicated- in year 7 I arrived with 3 friends from primary, all of which are in the same form and on the opposite side of the year. Regardless, I lost contact with them and so did they, with each other I mean. I used to do laps of the school by myself during break and lunch since I had no friends, up until around half way through year 8. By then I had formed a group friends, however I wasn’t happy and felt left out all the time. Our friendship group has evolved from losing three people and adding a few along the way. Right now I feel comfortable being my myself for a change rather than forcing a smile 24/7. The group we have now still has petty girl drama (you can’t escape that 😂) and only solidly formed a few months ago, and in a few months we will split up again for college but we hope to keep in touch as much as possible. If anything I feel like college will be a fresh start to form new relationships with people and hopefully lifelong friends.
Also, I’m not sure if I come across as this online, but in school I’m the weirdo that sits by themselves silent in lessons where we choose where to sit, it makes me sick thinking about socialising with people I’m not good friends with. And so to see that I’ve been able to sustain at least 3 solid friendships over the years hopefully reassures you that you can achieve anything!
And academic wise, I would definitely recommend perhaps emailing your teachers and asking for either some practice questions or simply for just advice on how to go about your struggles- not only does it create an impression that you are concerned therefore conveys you truly care about your work, but you’ll also gain a lot of confidence in the work with extra support from a teacher, I have come to learn they really do care and just want the best for their students!
Thank you for wishing me luck, I hope you also look after yourself and enjoy high school, all the best Hannah :)
