- Georgia state investigators are reviewing additional footage from the neighborhood where Ahmaud Arbery was shot to death while jogging in February. On Friday, people marked what would have been Arbery's 26th birthday by jogging in white T-shirts. Omar Villafranca reports.

He lived a little over a mile away.
Suspicion of wrongdoing does not give anyone the right to chase you down with weapons and then shoot you when you get scared and don’t want to be “taken”. No one has the right to kidnap or take you because they think you might have done something.

1) Ahaumd Arbery was in fact armed with a hammer, the media said he was an unarmed black man
2) Ahaumd Arbery was caught snooping inside a construction site by security cameras while wielding a hammer
3) Ahaumd Arbery lived 20 miles from his house, he wasnt jogging he was fleeing the scene, he wasnt even wearing running shoes!
4) Ahaumd Arbery attacked 2 men with guns because he didn't want to get caught!
He is a neighbor of the suspects. He's already been identified and given statements

They should have let the cops handle this. They had video evidence of who he was, and he regularly went on runs. It would not have been hard for the police to find him. Somebody doesn't go into a construction site on foot with the intent to steal. How far can you walk with an arm full of lumber before you decide to buy your own materials from Home Depot. If going into a home under construction is a crime, I'd be in trouble, I've probably toured 100 homes like that. I like to see homes in the unfinished state, it's the only way to learn by seeing how the tradesmen do things.

Really?? Homes under construction are huge targets for thieves. Obviously he wasn’t going to take anything big and lug it all the way home on foot. It’s called thieves tend to scope out the scene and often come back later with a vehicle and more people when they know exactly the whereabouts of valuable items. And if you walk into homes under construction hundreds of times you are certainly a rare breed. And I would guess you wouldn’t erratically sprint out of one of those homes you were visiting if someone saw and yelled at you? I mean, why would anyone feel the need to sprint out of a home when spotted by a neighbor if they were really there with good intent?

To put it in perspective as a beauty school student I look at hair stores , make up ect without buying just to see how things are made. He was most likely checking out the framework seeing how it was constructed ect, or for employment. Ahmaud had no intent of taking anything..or he may have nothing was found on his person)... also yellow caution tape or do not trespass signs should have been on the property, however these are the frivolous details that pull away from the issue at hand. Let’s not victimize the victim he’s already gone, the true issue is Racism in Georgia, the good ol boy system of protecting former 👮♀️ cops, the killing of black men and criminalizing black people has to stop. If he knew these men and thought they where going to try to 'apprehend' him wouldn't he have tried to run in the opposite direction away from them when he noticed them????? Or even wouldn't he have run down the left part of the road trying to stay away from where they are??? Yet he runs down the side right next to their vehicle. That's when the son goes for him and then they end up in a tussle. There is nothing about his behaviour that would demonstrate that her knew them and was trying to get away from them. He could of been looking for contractors to ask about a job for someone maybe himself, maybe he needed work done and was looking for a contractor. The fact he spends less than 20secs in there means he didn’t actually go snooping around. I work in one remodeling and it’s very common for neighbors to come in looking around or to ask about work and prices.

no 10 weeks prior ago someone in khakis walked up to an empty house under construction... Even in that incident... nothing was stolen... and they don't know who it was (clearly to small to be Ahmaud) they have already reviewed all reports... that area has had no break ins....
As someone who was a contractor, that's exactly how tools "jog" away. If you're not the owner or a contractor, you got no business being on site, even if you're owner's best friend or neighbor.
If you been a contractor for years. You know not to leave any tools on site. Secondly, he didn't look weight down as he continue on jogging, did he?

For you people saying he shouldn’t have walked into the house under construction. You are correct but it doesn’t mean he was a burglar or deserved to be killed. I had an old Hungarian neighbor when I was under construction and I’d find him there roaming around. He even climbed a temporary 2x4 ladder to the second floor to look around. I also had two kids I knew who actually forced their way into the house through a not so secure door to “look around”. The alarm went off and they bolted. The Hungarian guy told me he saw them. Lol. I called their parents and the boys apologized. I’m glad nobody tried to make a citizens arrest on any of them and killed them. Also I had a compressor stolen. Don’t think I would’ve shot anyone for that thing.

Very true i rode along with a guy who cut lawns for newly built properties and ones that were being sold by realtors he would take pictures of other houses on his route that said for sale that yard looked like it needed to be cut and send it to the company asking can he do those ones aswell he went to one area it waa an entire newly built subdivision he had 2 houses when he saw he googled took pictures and almost did a back flip that the company said sure since your going to be over their anyways we will let you do the other 14 houses on that block since they need to be routinly maintaince for tours that was going to be a huge check for him. After seeing this video he better be careful before he goes to the wrong house and a white person sees him with his lawm truck taking pictures and think hes casing the joint smh. There are also video bloggers that have enhanced the video which clearly shows Arbery wearing work boots. The problem with that is I've never seen anyone run down a street to evade anyone. Not in movies (maybe B horror film) If evading they would run away or between houses. Worth noting that the clever man placed his hand over the barrel of the shotgun before yanking it towards him, thus pulling the trigger against McMichaels finger and effectively blowing his own hand off. If he had ceased his attack there and then he might have been ok but he continued to attempt to take a concerned neighbors firearm. Dumb games dumb prizes etc

Well, the "just jogging" narrative is long dead. But you know he wasn't shot for stealing, right? However misguided the citizen arrest was, you do know that putting your hands on someone else's gun-- to relieve them of their gun against their will-- will get you killed, right?
I'm not privy to all of the nuances of just how justified the manner they conducted their citizens arrest actually was. But I will say that trying to forcibly remove someone's gun is necessarily mortal combat because they have to assume that you intend to use it on them. That's how Michael Brown was shot by the police.
