Kind of useless as it's slower than other comparable models, not sure who they are gonna blink their lights at. Hopefully they know how to keep right to let people with faster cars pass.
I just started the process of ordering the cabrio in the USA. I’m not 100 percent it’s ready to order yet. The salesman is going to talk to the managers. That tech!
Looks great & seriously weighing it up as a replacement for my current daily drive👍🏻 I’d have to see Alpine Grey “in the flesh” as it just looks white on camera
Absolutely beautiful design. Love this car so much. One thing I don’t like about a lot of the new Mercedes models is the new ambient lighting combos. They are too pastel colored. The old system and ambient lighting had more bold colors and the combos were better in my opinion.
Please review the CLE convertible. Everyone on RUclips is reviewing the Coupe, but there's only a couple videos on the Cabriolet. I think it would get a lot of views from other people like myself who are interested in purchasing the convertible. Thanks for another great upload by the way!
As a current e-coupe owner, I find this interior absolutely unacceptable quality (and same for the interior of the 206 c-class). Nearly every surface is cheap plastic, and everything that looks like metal or wood is fake and plastic. I think, even for the C-class price/tier, this interior should have more soft-touch on the doors, dashboard, and center console. The finish should include at least some real metal and wood materials. Otherwise, why not just get a Honda? This is even less acceptable because the CLE is expressly marketed as an E-class replacement too. Not, unsurprisingly, I think the exterior design is spectacular, and I like what they did to combine the "sportiness of the C-coupe with the extra space of the E-coupe." Separate from the interior quality is the interior design. While the interior quality is objectively bad for the price and position of the car, the interior design is also not great in my opinion. I generally think the shared elements of all new mercedes models are not good - like (1) the piano black center console and surrounds for the seat controls; (2) capacitive touch & lack of nice, tactile buttons; (3) generally less architecture than the design language of last generation (e.g., S-Coupe & GT63). I'm generally of the opinion that the last-gen designs were better, but I do think the W214 E-class WITHOUT the superscreen is the best of the bunch. Apparently, it's decent quality inside too. With no viable successor to the E or S class coupes for people that care more about the luxury than the approval of others, I think this is a dark period for Mercedes. I will just have to buy an old car or an 8 Series to upgrade when it comes time. I'm sure as hell never buying this trash...
@@BulliezInc thank you! No reviewers seem to say this but anyone thats been in an E class and a 206 C class should know. What specification did you get?
100% agree. According to the clearly biased reviews everything looks great, but in practice quality has been going constantly down on Mercedes. Even the W205 which had more better soft materials, was not great in terms of build quality (lots of rattle and squeaks, unacceptable for a car that is supposed to be Premium), and now on top of that they also start to lower the quality of the materials you see and touch. Not to mention that CLE is just a C coupè with E badge, but price of E of course. What's next? Are they going to propose a Dacia with Mercedes logo, adding few lights here and there?
@@BobsUp83Seriously! I agree with everything you just said. like somehow the squeaks and rattles didn't improve. I think they (1) need to include an "exclusive leather" option like in the S-class that can add more premium materials to the CLE - I would pay for that considering how good it looks on the outside [e.g., dynamica headliner, soft-touch doors, dashboard, and center console]; (2) get rid of the piano black on the center console and seat control panel on the doors [across every mercedes model!!!]' (3) get rid of the capacitive touch under the screen, on the steering wheel, and on the seat controls [also across every model!!]; and (4) IDGAF if they want to put plastic trim in the C-class, but it should have real wood, carbon, aluminum in this higher-tier car. In fact, most of this would be a non-issue if they just ripped the new E class's interior for this.
@@tool8337 I pretty much got a fully loaded vehicles . I’m only missing the heated armrest/ center console package , air suspension and air balance package . It’s black / black interior with 19 in AMG Wheels .
Nice car. But a few things would be disturbing: - Important functions unfortunately via touchscreen operation. Air conditioning and the similar functions would be much more convenient with real buttons and controls. - The digital displays and screens are unfortunately not integrated and therefore look as if some cheap tablets were simply mounted on them later. As if they weren't part of the car. - Too many surfaces that are prone to dust and look like cheap plastic.
If we’re being honest of the past C-class the screens looked out of place as well. Only cars before the facelift that had “in place” screens were the S and E class models

The e coupe mainly had the front end of the c class with just a different rear, it may have provided more comfort but, if considering that car in most cases your were better off just going for the s class. Plus the e class coupe didn't come as a true AMG.
@@mikmillerrealtori disagree. The C Class is far from perfect. I’ve always look at those as a first car, college student or even a recent graduate. IMO it’s always looked cheap to me especially with that tablet screen tacked on in the interior from previous generations Which doesn’t really represent the brand I love.
