Sean, the number of evs priced at US10k or less being churned in China is just mind-boggling. They definitely cause goose bumps among legacy automakers.
Looks like a great option, 4 wheels and a big battery. I personally have little to no use for most of the tech crammed into cars these days, even self cancelling indicators annoy me.
What are the barriers to 5c charging at this price range? If i want to go on a road trip, it's going to be slower than 75 km/h (driving at 100 km/h) including charging considering this car has less than 1c fast charging.
It's so annoying that this ev's prices are soaring high here in the Philippines despite the law being signed that ev's are tax exempted even the import tax and yet their being price the same to JDM vehicles 😅😭🙄🤔😮💨😬🤐
Front Seat is adjustable. Make the backseat adjustable. Thats Easy and Cheap to do and solves leg Space issues. Thank You. Next video WEIGHT and Adjustable Backseat.😊👍🌹
It looks like a baby Volvo XC40 and they call that monster a small car?🙄 Bingo and bingo plus are sorely needed here in Europe Other than for the option of affordability, there shouldn't be an excuse to deprive heat pumps since they're basically AC units and a great help to efficiency over resistive heaters. A 5th middle seat shouldn't be anywhere near as expensive as a rear wiper.
With an AC and a 5th seat this would do great in Europe. The closest competitors we have in Finland are 200hp 60kWh Dolphin at 35000 euros and 170hp 51kWh MG4 with many missing features at 28000 euros. The new Renault has useless back seats so it's basically a 2-seater. I'm a little worried about the mentioned torsion beam rear suspension though, it better not be a failing part like the Peugeot 405 had. Had to replace a whole rear axle on that one.
50 kWh makes 500 km. Thats a fact. What is the Weight. Weight times KM. And taxes goes by Weight. Pay more attention to the Weight. And I have a moveble backseat in a Daihatsu Cuore Premium. Make a moveble backseat and solve Leg Space Problems.
The "Electric Vehicle Race to Affordability" #EVR2A is heating up. Nice to see some other OEM step up to compete for EV affordability market share. There is always new tech coming to increase performance and efficiency. Question is are they aggressively adopting it fast enough?!
The BYD Dolphin is 34k euros in France, so if we consider that the Wuling Bingo would be priced the same as the BYD, the Renault 5 EV is cheaper. You absolutely cannot compare prices between China and westerns countries. to your 11k euros you need to add VAT, import taxes, shipping etc..
A low-cost EV does not need to have all the electronic gadgets except for the passengers safety with the most important being emergency braking and ABS.
Dude even without tariffs the Dolphin is €25000 plus 20% tax. The Chinese price is the Chinese price only. Everywhere else it's doubled. Logistics costs, extra engineering, lack of hidden subsidies ... Chinese price for the Renault/Dacia Spring is also half the European.
Would like to see a 15000 euro version with some extra features. The Renault 5 is 25000 in Europe. How much will the price of the Wuling Bingu Plus increase by when/if sold in Europe? The Renault 5 is also a superior car in terms of design both interior and exterior plus it has a lot more goodwill. It is like comparing Levi's jeans to jeans with no brand recognition in Europe. It also includes vehicle-to-grid.
This car won't pass European car test and lacks many features the Renault 5 has, including a NMC battery. Next in the line, the Twingo will be 20k€ in two years, approaching what a buffed up Chinese car will be
This is the most underrated Chinese EV channel on RUclips.
Yet another professional video from the Telescope. Too bad we get only one video per week :-)

This presenter is absolutely brilliant, he explains everything 😊
Better exterior and especially interior design than Dolphin

Simply a brilliant vid 😊

Can you make a video and give your opinion on the 3, bingo vs nammi vs seagull.. From features to security to driving experience.

Yes, I also wonder why EV's in the Philippines are so much more expensive.
same with indonesia too. the government already enacted the law for ev tax, but there are nothing substantial happen to ev price. 😅
Dealership Markup.
Expensive upfront, but EVs can save you lots of money in the long run, when compared to ICE vehicles.
excellent video ! Nice Car. Cool name ! Excellent PRODUCT !
Hi whats is the difference between baojun and wuling?
i believe Baojun is simply a sub-brand of wuling?
@@ryanzkp Ohh so it's the same. Curious why they have multiple brand name like that
Chevy and Pontiac
@@Gouliguo Ohh I see, Toyota and Daihatsu then
I believe there is a typo in the title - I see Dolohin instead Dolphin in my case.

What about the Indian EV market?
Tata motors is having some really good value for money cars like Tiago EV and Punch EV.
BYD is expensive here.

Original bingo is beautiful the plus is ugly no chance with the dolphin
tariffs or cheap cars, your choice

I agree and I think you should go ahead to buy the Renault 5. Good for you!
Bingou is good
Everyone buying a Chinese car should make love to themselves. Good luck getting enough spare parts or software updates when the trade war hits.
Far better than Dolphin at this price point
its the commination of Tesla and BMWi3
From what angles? 😂😂
@5:10 - climate control is very inefficient. no 360 😂

lol. European standards are not all that impressive nowadays. Plenty of Chinese EV got 5 star ratings.
@@hdvoice Not that cheap EVs, already written about the BYD Seagull
Pagdating sa pilipinas 1.5m
I thnk Wuling has better design language than BYD. It looks more european than BYD weird cheap chinese looking design.
