Loving your videos and your techniques, I hate having to use rodenticide and whenever I explain to my customers about secondary poisoning of owls etc and how many rats that an owl could kill in it's lifetime they start to understand. However some customers think you are trying it on and just want more visits for more money.....that brings me on to my question of do you quote individually for these type of jobs (empty properties) after an inspection? I have been stung a few times by quoting my standard rodent price for maybe a few visits and walk into a minefield of problems 😟

This is a phrase that you must remember “the least toxic approach MUST be used and that is the law”.
You don’t make the laws in the uk, neither do we, but that’s the law.
It’s a rare law because it is a good one!
Also remember that the customer has called you, you’ve not knocked their door, they have come to you.
Nearly all customers have tried umpteen different ways to get rid of their problems (wether they admit it or not, they have, you see the evidence when you do the job).
You are the expert. What you say goes, or they can carry on failing to treat it themselves.
I’m always saying to pesties on social media platforms “know your worth”.
If the customer knows better than you…just walk away.
In my 15 years I’ve walked away many times….and then, two years later, I try not to have a smug smile when they call my company back to finally solve their problems.
We hardly ever use rodenticide on rats, I can’t actually remember the last time we had too.
Hit that notification bell, you’ll see how we solve this issue and don’t need any rodenticide.
It’s going to be a battle on this property…but we will win it….you’ll see.
