Excellent tutorial! My hair is so baby-fine that it looked WAY different combing and cutting than your beautiful hair, but because of your careful instructions I was able to intuitively understand how to modify things to fit my "toddler" hair. :-) I have been murdering my bangs on and off for 35+ years, and this was the first time I really understood why and how to do things differently. Not to mention, no hairstylist has actually ever trimmed my bangs as well as I did myself tonight, thanks to your tutorial. Thank you from the 2020 pandemic!!!

The best tutorial! I was able to do my side swept bangs like I had in 2012. I had side swept bangs for about 2 years and then I let it grow. After a few years I’ve tried to cut it again and I never got the same look. Now I finally managed to get what i wanted. Thanks!

Totally my fault but your tutorials and super helpful! Knowing how to part it was probably the hardest.. Keep doing your thing! Also love your hair colour. There's this surprisingly cheap saloon in my little town that I used to go to a few years ago, the woman there cuts AMAZING bangs. And i've gone to expensive places as well and hated the end result xD So yeah many of them aren't good at bangs and price doesn't even always mean they're better.
I wish you cut my hair. All the previous hair stylist that I have gone to have done a terrible job cutting my hair and I get so sad. You make hair cutting seem so easy. I just wish you were my hairstylist.

I've used the twist method before (as I see Sam Villa's video to the right, right now), but I really like the variation of pulling each side toward the other and making it more angled! Thanks :)
Thanks for posting this, I've been quite ill recently and unable to get to my hairdresser. I watched this and cut my own fringe. It looks a lot neater and will keep me going until I'm well enough to go again.

I just did this technique but my hair is a lot thinner and they still turned out nice. I did keep them slightly longer. I could probably shorten them a bit more. I'm very happy with the way they turned out. Bear in mind I am used to having bangs regularly.

Well done. The salons refuse to cut them to a length that is out of my eyes (They'll shrink!!) so I have quit arguing with them and do it when I get home. If they are too short, I just wait a minute.. Good scissors are key here too. I used to go in and pay about $7 + tip for a bangs trim, but I am over it now lol.

I could never get any stylist to get my bangs right. I usually just leave without saying anything because I do not want to hurt their feelings. I sometimes try myself and they also come out not that great. But today I used what you taught in this video and they came out perfectly even with my cowlick right in my bang area. I am so happy.
