In most cases it works, however if spotify music still keeps pausing on your device try to UPDATE ROBLOX TO THE LATEST VERSION, there was one previous version when it didnt work!
If you have technical issues please check again that you've followed all steps:
1) open "Shortcuts" App
2) tag "+" in the upper corner and tag "+ add action"
3) in search bar write "Play/Pause" and select proposed button in section "Media" and tap "Done"
4) follow instructions to enable assistive touch 0:22
5) After you enable assistive touch you will see section Custom actions and "Double tap" option there
6) Link double tap to Play/Pause action
It should work with Spotify and also with RUclips Music and Apple Music!
If you have tried all options and still having trouble with your device pausing while playing music, there is a simple solution that always works. You can use a SMARTWATCH to play music or use an old smartphone or iPad that has Spotify or RUclips apps installed. Although this may not be as convenient as using your regular device, it is 100% guaranteed way to keep the music playing with Roblox.

A method I found:
If you have AirPods just double tap whichever AirPod is pause/play once you get into Roblox

I tried playing Spotify and it keeps stops when I press play music. I try different app that I use often and it the same. This didn’t work for my iPad even I add short cut.
Yh Roblox has made it so that these methods don’t work anymore. Sucks

If you made the play/pause shortcut it should be there. Other shortcuts appear there as well so you might have not found it at first

I have a feeling it has something to do with the new IOS update, I updated my ios ipad a few days ago. And before I updated my ipad, I was able to play music in-games/out of games just fine.
But then after I did my software update on my ipad, I wasn’t able to play music in-games anymore.
It’s the same with watching youtube in a game like roblox etc. I tried everything but it doesn’t work, for anyone who also has this problem. The only thing I can suggest you to try is listening to music on a different device while playing a game or whatever.
Im sure IOS will fix this problem so the only thing we can do is wait.

Another theory I have is it might be because Roblox made an update where you can’t listen to music/watch videos while playing Roblox at the same time.
When I tried it, at the first 1 second it worked, but after a second, it stopped.
I don't have the shortcuts tab on the double tap menu

I never had to do that I use my AirPod and I push play and it always played, not when I do it it nonstop pauses and I have to pick play and it pauses right after I push play

If you have a TV in your room you can also just Airplay it to your TV. This didn’t work for me but AirPlay did. So if you have a TV you can connect it to it works.
Guys!! I found a solution, you need to install rave, put the video or song you want to (ps: there is no option to put Spotify so u need to use RUclips) then, you can make a playlist with the songs you want to play and then just do put it on play. (If you want to listen to it alone, just press on the button that says private, so random people won’t enter) 😁

I’m currently looking 4 different ways now.
This is fixed. Your music will stop once you join a game, but you can just play again and it will continue as normal. If this doesn’t work for you try to update Roblox
I don’t think anybody knows but after Jan 17 it stopped working but for me it started working like today or yesterday

I have a problem even though I do this trick when I go in the game it completely removes the audio from the audio player so even though it’s paused i can’t unpause due to fact it’s not playing entirely

It works in majority cases. To find out why it is not working on your device (is it related to device or to Spotify) could you please test it with RUclips music?
