PSA. The mileage number isn’t actual miles. While you can change the speedometer from Kilo to Miles, the tac doesn’t change. The number you see is kilometers, not miles. So it has less miles than you actually see! :D
You might want to inform yourself as to what a Tachometer measures. The engine RPM is not measured in metric vs standard. It also isn’t a measurement of distance. Beyond that, I own a car, a truck, and a Kawasaki w800 and they all show 26 miles one way on my commute to work, the same as the KPM200 on the imperial setting. I think you received some bad info.
I love your naked bike look, its awesome. Looking forward to a video showing your fender delete, and the tray to hold the battery and all the wiring. Did you also do anything to resupport the back of the seat for an extra rider too?
Thank you for watching. I don’t know how it happened, but I uploaded the follow up video a couple of months ago and somehow it was set to private. I just made it public, and you can watch it if you like.
I know it’ll be a bit of a task but is removing the air box and replacing it with the K&N filter pretty much that easy? That air box is a bitch to get to and I feel like this would a better option.
I bought an antigravity lithium battery, fabricated a piece of aluminum that I attached to the underside of the seat rail, ran a new battery cable to it, and that’s that. I have a video about in on my channel.
Do you know of a battery that will fit in the box that the original comes in? I’m having a hard time finding one and no one seems to be able to point me in the right direction.
Sweet! I love naked bikes. I’ve had a bunch, but the only one I have left is an ‘04 Buell XB12S. I rode it a lot more when we lived in AZ…Chandler.
Awesome, exactly what i was looking for, thank friend!
Great video! I'm looking to do the same, plus swap 80/20 tires for gravel riding.
Dude these are great mods! Great job.
Thanks for all the links
Thanks for sharing! Nice ride🍭🐓👶
You didn't add the mirrors. Where do I get them????
