Are there any good videos for someone who know nothing about FPV. To start out I want to build an FPV wing and learn as much about the electronics as possible.
I started with Tiger moths, great because they can fly so slow but with a big motor they can really move. Still have the 300 and 400, need to do an fpv in one!

One of my brothers built a Spitfire plane out of balsa wood and some old drawings he found. Used to dive bomb people in our local park with eggs until some dog walker took a big stick to it. Since then I fell in love with gliders and now gps drones. Unfortunately kept crashing fpv.

This is an exciting new world. So far I have already learned that there is a ZOHD system where the Kopilot is not a full flight controller, but a RTH system with GPS. Also, there is a vc400 (400 milliwatt). Now, I am looking into researching the goggles. I might see if Flight test has a good fpv camera and transmitter and goggle. : ) What is my goal? Well, I don't want to fly full scale becuase that is not safe. So, I want to experience flight like I am flying. : ) without the cost or danger. lol

I never have. You could if you installed a flight controller. Otherwise no. Look up the Matek Wing F405 flight controller

How do you think, what is the best position for an FPV camera (not 360 degrees) on an RC plane? The very front (nose) so that you don't see any part of your plane? Or is it better to see your plane's nose while flying for a better understanding of where you're flying to?
Actually, the Multiplex Easy Star pre-dates the Bixler by over a decade. All these other designs take after the Easy Star.
I remember the easy star. Bixler was the most popular tho.
I think here are 360 Cams really cool and usefull, much more like on Kwads

I'm just getting into fpv planes from drones. I mainly fly a mobular 6. I have a old foam plane that I got ages ago and I have just put a cheep fpv set up onto it. I'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions for a plane like the one in the vid but more buget friendly that can rilun off a 3s battery I have from my 5".

I fly drones but never been into fpv. But, I'm really interested by airplanes and fixed wings drones. Is there a way to build it so you can use a monitor screen instead of using goggles? I'm basically looking for the same experience I get with my mavic. Able to fly VLO and a screen (like my phone or tablet when I fly a dji mavic) at the same time. Anyone flies fpv fixed wings that way? Having some sort of screen you can attach to your receiver or something? Probably a weird question! lol
Yes they have monitors you can use instead of goggles. You can also get digital fpv equipment and use the same stuff you use for your DJI.

Hey Justin, what if you wrapped the plane in vinyl wrap to help in keeping the damage to a minimum? I have seen some at the hobby shop and thought of trying it out on my Zohd Orbit.

@@dronecamps is there a decent video on how to do a basic wrap? The videos I find seem to be mostly for the high dollar rigs, as they use what look like a flat iron, and some sort of adhesive. I once used duct tape on one of my first DIY kits from Flite Test... LOL.
