Edit: Ngl, BTK and Gosu were pretty much like rivals and have a good amount of respect for each other so I guess even if they are spam recalling is just kinda like your homie teasing you so I guess it should be fine. Spam recalling is fine as long as the opponents don't get triggered about it.

i do think its okay to recall in tournas, since you rly worked hard to get to that stage of the much, but too much of it (nonstop) is really unsportsmanlike

I feel mixed about the taunting ( recalling and emoting) stuff. It is annoying and disrespectful but, as you said it also tilts your opponent that they start making misplays.

moonton is so double standard when it comes to this. they want good sportsmanship but yet promotes these recall taunting by adding more taunting emotes. why is recall taunting different from bad sportsmanship??? as a game, you are either promoting good sportsmanship or encouraging bad sportsmanship... nothing in between
I have never made any mistakes after recall spammings. The players who does it in most cases loses the match after. If someone is recall spamming i know they will lose, coz they r immature & will not be able to handle pressure when i go after him later.
I'm not sure, but in my opinion, taunting (using recall, emotes, and messages such as "well played" or "good game," among other things) was a tactical move in a fight because it gave you the advantage by distracting your opponent's attention (furious and etc.), which made them less able to concentrate. I personally have never used this tactic because it's not my style and I usually play with my friends' full squads in open mic, which leaves me with little time to do so and you also must know that this tactic can backfire to you (mental). But We can see that they crossed the line and were being disrespectful, so if you ask me if they were disrespectful, I'd have to say yes. The Gosu team didn't even respond to the recall and didn't even consider responding, so we can't say much since it's possible that they (gosu team) chose to focus on other things (game) and that recalling was simply not their cup of tea. Even thought I'm not sure if the Gosu team started the taunting first or if some members of the Gosu simply underestimated the other team in the interview, as we saw Mobazane do in the M4 interview, which could enrage the Malaysia team, so I can't say much about this. In the first place, I don't like to watch the interview or even the match itself.

Recalling is fine if the enemy is the one doing it, cause it's fun to make them embarassed when the tide of the battle turns in our favor lmao. Their silence and denial that they are still stronger is what makes it better.

We should not disrespect our opponents even though we are leading, i also sometime disrespect my opponent without knowing their feelings, it is really frustrating when some opponent take us so lightly, showing off their recall instead of finishing the game when they get the change, i thoroughly don't recommend from the mlbb player to show disrespect to their opponent.

I have mixed opinions, this game is all about strategy, and that recall spam and other provocative in game action could give you benefit, coaches usually told them too, its to throw them off, as long as its not profanity, racial slurs, and it's not prohibited feature, its completely fine tbh.

I remember when I faced players who like to taunt or text too much crap on game I'd just tell my cousins (who played with me) to relax and let them be stupid the whole game while we play normally. Win or lose at least those taunt stuff that they do is just for nothing since we didn't reciprocate their feelings.

I mean i don't really care about the recall recalling as long as they're not cheating/hacking it's still a fair game, you can still win. It's just that they're good at the game. It's like saying "oh it's not fair, you get an experienced pro player" doesn't matter if your teammates is a new pro player or old pro player like RRQ Lemon or someone, if they play good they play good. Same as recalling, if you play good you can still win even though you get "recall recalled". Recall and emote is a feature from moonton so if people don't like getting recall recalled or emoted just remove the feature because as long as the feature exist there's always someone using it. It's like saying "no street racing" when you build a big street, literally impossible to stop unless you didn't build the street in the first place

I once played a classic and notice this chang'e able to use her ult so quickly. Then I saw she build ult cooldown reduced but when I noticed no kill/assist kill made by her team, she is able to cast 2/3 time as if the cooldown 4 second

There nothing wrong about recalling or emoting, as long as the enemy doesnt insult them by comementing slurs then it should be fine

Squads have to maintain Professionalism when playing at the top level, if you're lining up to recall/mock them, that's not taunting and its extremely unprofessional. You can recall and spam emotes all you want if you want to tease your opponent while maintaining the flow of the game, recalling in front of their tower but still moving on to end the game is part of it, but lining up like btk did is just unprofessional and toxic, not classified as teasing imo

I didn't think there was even a team from my country (SG) so this comes as a nasty surprise. It was indeed a very light punishment considering SG is a multiracial country. Inciting racial comments and insulting their parents are just uncalled for. It is just a game, come on! At the most you lose a star, big deal. I've lost four or five matches in a row before, doesn't really matter.
About the spamming of recall, I think it's fine. Its like a dance you know? I've had opponents do that to me before many times, but I don't mind them. Doesn't make a difference to me.

The truth is this community will never be as wholesome as the ML developers would like it to be. They say zero tolerance yet still allow spam recalling, misused letters to get their slur across, and even emotes of such nature in moments. If they were true about zero tolerance half of the gaming community on ML fanbase/players would be gone and they’d lose money.
