Clint , have you ever seen the movie “ Battle Cry “ Aldo Ray AND Tab Hunter !! I’m not a huge fan of war movies, but this one is very well written and filmed Plus you get to watch both of these great guys !👍 Also I can highly recommend the musical movie “ Damn Yankees “ Tab Hunter’s best movie in my opinion ! Yes , a musical movie about Major League Baseball !!! Who would have thought !?!😮 If you haven’t seen this movies , please watch! You’ll be glad you did !
Clint, you should check out Brazilian photographer Alair Gomes's homoerotic pictures of guys in speedos only at the beach (which became his personal trademark) whether just hanging out or working out (and there you'll see the sensual homoerotic narrative he makes out of two guys in speedos only)
Clint, thank so much for your wonderful photos! As a Baby Boomer, they bring back so many memories & wish I had joined up. My Dad & his brother were in WWII. My Dad was in the Army in Europe & his brother in the Navy in the Pacific. They both made it home alright.
Cheers, Dan. Given the times and conflicts, sounds like your choice not to enlist might not have been a bad thing. Glad your family made it back and hopefully lived long, happy lives.
Clint, fabulous photomontage again. The Tab Hunter @ 1:47 is my pick of the crop for some reason 😜 and I don't think Roosevelt would have gotten away riding a moose in 2024 either 😮 Cheers DougT 🇫🇴
Loved Aldo Ray's character in "We're No Angels". Back when there were just the three networks and the same slate of old movies ran in cycles I think I saw that particular movie half-a-dozen times. A lot of sailor power to operate a windlass. One forgets how massive an anchor and chain can be.
Sorry about commenting on EVERY post, but: Hugh O'BRIEN! Sigh. There are some pretty special stills of him from "Ten Little Indians" or "And Then There Were None" or whatever they're calling it these days. THAT was the movie that made me pay attention.
I noticed several wonderful photographs by F. Holland Day. It wound be interesting to devote an episode to him and his work. This was excellent, by the way.
Hi, David. F. Holland Day was a fascinating guy...and I made a video about him a few weeks ago. Though it didn't get quite the love I had hoped. Maybe you'll appreciate it: ruclips.net/video/7WOFyYoDynk/видео.html
Thanks for your reply. I just watched the video you very kindly linked, and you are correct. It was underappreciated. Woefully. I loved it. As a new subscriber, I am looking forward to watching your past efforts, and I'm damn skippy not missing any new ones!
We have all dared, greatly or not. So, today, I will celebrate my courage to dare, those who have dared and offer strength and guts to those who need to dare.
How DARE you. :-p Shall we play truth or dare? :-) Sending my best...I'm feeling sassy this evening. Time for me to log off before I get too silly. Cheers.
@@CollidePress Looks like i fell down a hole ...Although it looks like him, Whitman had a chin dimple and the photo doesn't appear in any kind of search for Whitman.
You might like to know that the man shown variously around 5:20, with beard and hat, is one of the Lincoln assassination conspirators, possibly Arnold, but I'd have to search my files to be sure. The photographer is often identified as Matthew Brady, but is probably his associate and, by then, competitor -- (later: photographer was probably Alexander Gardner) name escapes me at the moment. But this should give you enough information to do a search. As a retired American cultural historian, I am sure of what I've said, but am shakey on exact details without going back into my files. But I hope this clue helps. I do so enjoy your videos. THANKS😂❤!! 1:12
Though the timestamp took me to the image before the one in question, I don't doubt your info about the photo. I find so many photos that are fascinating but don't have any context. And reverse image searches take time...and aren't always conclusive. I do find it interesting how MANY vintage photos are attributed to Matthew Brady. I know he was prolific, but he would have had to be a time traveller or had a fast car to be in all the places folks say he was. I might need to read up more about him and his competitors. The 1850s-1880s are fascinating to me, especially photography.
A nouveau une formidable rétrospective ! Tab Hunter dans sa beauté ravageuse. Et quelle audace du marin qui s'apprête à taquiner de sa bouche l'oreille de son copain ! Chavirant et sensuel au plus haut point. Merci.
Thanks Clint 😂 Aldo was friendly with George Cukor early on.❤ There were some pool parties. 😮 He said later that women had ruined his life. 😜 He was in a porno movie in a non sexual role and in another regular movie with Traci Lords. 🫠 We're No Angels was my favorite of his movies. 😇
Wonderful montage and music. Some gorgeous men.
Glad you enjoyed, RJ...cheers!
Aldo Ray and Tab Hunter !!! How does one possibly choose ??? Two of Hollywood’s BEST !! WOW !! Oh what the heck , I choose BOTH !!😊😂😊😂
No need to choose...cuz they're all mine. Mine, mine, mine. lol Sorry I couldn't resist. :-p

TAB HUNTER any day .
Loved Aldo...gravely voice 😍
And poor Alan Turin 2.09. A man who did so much for all of us in WW2.
Yeah, Aldo is an auditory and visual treat. As for Mr. Turing, I'm happy we can celebrate his amazing accomplishments.
OUTSTANDING 👏👏👏👏👏👏

Thank you Clint. As always, an awesome viewing.
Thanks, Robert. Glad you enjoyed. Hope you had a great weekend!
@@CollidePress I especially liked that you included Henry Scott Tuke at the end! Hope your weekend was pleasant as well.

Tab Hunter is hot and gorgeous!
Thanks, Doug. Methinks the moose might've rode him today. As for Tab, it's a pretty sweet photo. Bedhead Tab! :-)

Thanks you, kind sir...I love that film. And didn't know the term "windlass." Always nice to learn new things. Cheers.
Aldo- mmmmm
Wonderful as always ❤️
Thanks, Andrew! Glad you enjoyed. Cheers.

3:00 I've been trying to put a name to that actor standing up ...popular in the 60's.
Looks a lil like James Garner, but couldn't find a name using reverse image search.
@@CollidePress 99% Sure it's Stuart Whitman!

Henry Tuke for me.
