Little tip if, I may, keep the double edged blade in the wrapping, break it in the middle and insert one half in the razor. That way the blade itself can be placed on the those holding pins, with very little pressure from your nails you can then keep it in place while closing the clip from above.

She used a wooden comb which is a very smart move since those are generally better for your beard and prevent frizzy beard hairs from happening.
