This line just breaks my heart every time I hear it, this song was my home and shelter when my world was falling apart, there is just no way to describe who grateful I am for this song, because eventually I realized that the pain and suffering somehow got easier over time.
I was in the same situation you were 4 years ago, the bullshit I was dealing with got better. But I came back since life hasn't been to kind to me but hopefully it will get better again.

Darshan chudiwal It's not...It's a logical ending....If Will lived and went against his own character that would have been shit...I was upset with the ending at first...But then I realized it's not even so much about if Will and Louisa would stay together forever and all..The whole story is more about all the happiness she brought to him and all the things she's done for him..Giving him a new life again stir up laughs and love back in his life when it was empty....THat's what's all great about this movie..I really don't believe the ending was an "F you" to the audience like it seems...It was really intended and tragic in a sad but purposefull and earned way

It's 2022 and been 6 years. I'm back here again after re watching this beautiful movie. This isn't the first time I've watch this movie and it never fail to make me cry- cried so hard. The emotions never change... i still feel broken. Knowing Will and lou's story happens to true to life story break my heart even more. Nevertheless, this is definitely my all time favorite movie. I love it so much 🥺 I hope Sam and Emilia will have an another movie together. 🙏💖

What do you people mean by saying "this is not their style"? In an interview they said that they make music because it's their passion, what they love to do. S+M was criticized for the same reason, but that's the true Imagine Dragons style now: having no genre in particular. Their variety is the reason why I appreciate them and you'll never truly understand them if you're looking for one genre only.They're unique.

Well they don't have a style, but they do have a "sound"... This song feels like Imagine Dragons, as did I Was Me, Battle Cry, Warriors, etc. S+M and Roots were good, and branched out stylistically, but there was definitely something missing from those that made it Imagine Dragons. I liked those, just not as an Imagine Dragons effort. This song is different stylistically but it does "feel" Imagine Dragons. Idk what it is
KingPigIII (CaptainChocolatePig) I think that everyone has a diffetent opinion about it depending on which songs are his/her favourites. That's what comes with variety: maybe someone who hear their heavier songs the most thinks that Not Today is not feeling like Imagine Dragons, or maybe the ones who hear their slow songs the most think the opposite, we'll never know. Personally, I appreciate all of their work, which I know is made with heart and passion from the first to the last song.. They're very talented :)

Their musics are remarkably divergent.. from a solid rock like "I'm so sorry"; "Battle cry" "Monster" "Friction" and the emmy winner "Radioactive" to some soft but extremely powerful songs like "Dream" "Smoke and mirrors" "darkness" "pantomime", Imagine Dragons have no boundries and that's just amazing.
But of course, if you only know songs like "Radioactive" "Demons" Its time" "On top of the world and "I bet my life", you may think like that.

Will's glory days were behind him, he saw no point in continuing his existence. Louisa's life, so far, has been dull. She didn't venture out into the world like Will did. She wasn't living life at the fullest. Will leaves behind some money for Louisa, to give her opportunities to venture out, to live.
"It's not about the destination, but about the journey."
The destination is Will's eventual suicide, the journey is Lou and Will falling in love.
The destination is very underwhelming. In fact, reaching it doesn't give anyone a sense of accomplishment, instead, it just leaves everyone saddened. In contrast to this, the journey is the most overwhelming, and happiest part.

Me too. My wife died last year after suffering cancer for 5 years. After she died I checked her mobile. She had written that this song was a favourite. It makes me cry every time I listen to it but it is still very beautiful. I think you are right. It is not about the destination, it is about the journey. We were together for 45 years.

It's gotten me to stand up during some low points and motivated me to try and press on and try to make my life better despite everything seeming terrible at the moment. I know that they're never going to see this, but thank you Imagine Dragons for helping motivate me to believe everything is going to get easier even if it doesn't look like it will today.
I feel the exact same way you do. I listened to this song whenever I felt down in the dumps and alone. This song would make me hope and believe in a better future. This song has been with my motivation to a brighter future as well. You're not alone. "It's gonna get easier."

I was stumbling across an imagine dragons playlist and I heard this song. I’ve been a fan of them for 2 years and I haven’t heard this song before. I realized that it came from Me Before You. It’s one of my moms favorite movies and she knows I love Imagine Dragons. I don’t blame her for not telling me about this song. I think she thought I knew about this song, even if I didn’t. But now that I’ve listened to this song, I just feel overwhelmed with this song. I love it so much I just start crying. It’s one of my new favorite songs by them. 🥺
