The excess reverb on the vocals makes me think they took some artistic liberties making the trailer.
it reminds me or the voice production for other TVs, so my best guess (as some people here said they were still working on Rep TV) is that those aren't the final voice production, and it's maybe just an initial work so they can polish it more as they keep working on the songs
Music is always edited for these trailers, even It's Nice To Have A Friend had a rebranding for that horror movie 😂

I think I figured out the difference between the old and the new "do" sound on the chorus. It's the glissando, which basically means "gliding" between pitches. In the old version at the end of the word "do" she slides onto a lower note (1 semitone lower and maybe 2, occasionally) where as in the new version it's way more stagnant and that slide is skipped most of the times and often very subtle, when it's there. Basically it's not as intense and I personally don't quite know how to feel about it. It almost seems as if it's off-key at times because of the lack of glissando, that introduces a different note. The old one's also way more breathy, giving it a very raw sound. And for those that don't like it unfortunately I can promise u that it probably won't change until it's released. That's because for them to rerecord all the these songs they most likely have one track (the original acapella) open, and they record on top of it to match it as much as possible. They would've noticed the difference very quickly and there's no way they didn't. So it was intentional for sure. Hope i helped

@@RonyChatterTo me it sounds more like “dew” or “dooo,” but I prefer it. It gives off a more flippant, unbothered impression. I definitely hear the difference, but it doesn’t make me dislike it. I actually like it with that change, but I’ll have to hear the official full version when it’s released to decide if I prefer it.
