There are UK government documents openly accessible that squash almost everything people say about them. The music is great, but we shouldn't pretend that their whole label wasn't created around their act and that one of the partners behind it wasn't holding auditions for a duo as a competitve act with Frank and Maury (who he was also involved with).
@AllTheHandlesTaken frank and maury was a side project, but p&b is a project with real family members. I'm having difficulty linking Bas and Dex but I don't doubt there is a family link. Dex is related to two twins from little known band "boys wonder" one of the twins is possibly his father or older brother. My guessing is bas is an uncle 🤔
