If so, you are eligible to take the Cfa as early as your last year in a bachelors program or if you meet the specific work requirements listed on the Cfa official website. I would check on their website to make sure you meet eligibility criteria for level 1
Hi Aditi! I’m assuming by class 11 you mean grade 11 in high school? Taking statistics and economics classes may also be helpful to prepare for the cfa curriculum. Hope this is helpful, and let me know if you have any other questions!! 😊

Hi ma'am,
I want to apply for access scholarship for level 1 but as of now the registrations are closed and I have to give my attempt on February 2024 (Early registration deadline is of 13 July, 2023).
Do you have any idea that if the scholarship forms will open for Feb 2024 before this deadline or not?
This is very crucial for my year.
Thank you!
Hi Nisha! From taking a look at the CFA official website it seems like they do not anticipate opening the next round of applications until September 2023 (which is unfortunately after the early registration deadline 😕) Keep checking their website to see if they make any new announcements on the scholarship or maybe reach out to their contact center to see if they can confirm the date of when the scholarship will open. Hoping you're able to get the access scholarship and best of luck with your CFA Level 1 exam🙏❤

Ma'am which calculator is best *Texas BA II Plus* professional calculator or financial calculator?
Hi Kavya, I used the Texas Instruments BA II plus (not the professional version). Let me know if you have any other questions!
@@SarahSivan is financial calculator enough? Cause the professional calculator contains additional cash flow worksheets which is not there in the above mentioned one...
@@kavyalakshmi9469 for me the calculator was sufficient. If you want to use the professional version, it is also approved for the exam so you can do so if you like :)
@@SarahSivan thank you ma'am ❤

Do you think a guy without any finance background can digest the CFAI study material?
@@homingyeung1242 Hi! There are many topics tested that are not just finance (economics, ethics, quantitative methods etc) so finance background is not necessary but definitely would be helpful to get through the material.
Is it necessary to opt for any prep providers or the books by cfa is sufficient for level 1.
Hi! I didn’t use any outside test providers so the Cfa books were sufficient. But if you feel like you need more prep/practice or would benefit from a test prep provider many people do it so it may be helpful for you! Best of luck on your exam :)
Thanks ❤
Can we prefer Swescher Notes for level 1
@@sspeedtail hi! I didn’t use schweser notes so not sure what they are like but I would r recommend using the official cfa material as
A supplement that may help fill in any gaps that schweser notes may have. Best of luck!
Hiee mam.. am a cfa level 1 aspirant. Do provide any classes for CFA
Hi! Is that something that would be helpful for you on your Cfa journey? I can maybe post some video classes for Cfa topics if that would be of interest :) let me know what kind of Cfa content you would like to see and best of luck if you decide to take the exam 🙏☺️
@@SarahSivan thank you❤️ 2morrow am gonna take the exam
@@Satejaboga Oh sorry, I misread that! Wow, ahh tomorrow!! Hope you have a great exam day and pass the test, best of luck - you got this!! 💯🙌✔️

Does coaching required for preparation?
Hi! No, not required but can be helpful if you’re struggling in a certain area or need help creating a test strategy etc. let me know if you have any specific test related questions, happy to answer ☺️
@@SarahSivan Noted. Thank you so much ✨
hey. i am referring to schwesers book for level 1. is that enough?
Hi! I did not use schweser so not too sure. I know many people use it and they like the format. I would look at the official Cfa books/content as a supplement to schweser just to make sure you’re capturing the exam content. Best of luck for your level 1 exam!

Are the actual exam questions similar to EOC?
Hi! I actually made an in depth video discussing how the actual exam compares to EOCs, question banks, and mocks exam - you can watch it here ruclips.net/video/LCMHkoz2jYE/видео.html Hope the video is helpful for you...let me know if you have any other questions!!
I don't even have money to buy any course 😢becuz i am from 3rd world country can u pls help me i m being honest
Hi! You don’t need to buy any courses to pass the Cfa :)
I sm doing 4 yrs bcom hons. So when i will be eligible for cfa level 1?
Hi Saransh, I am not too familiar with bcom Hons-is this a bachelors degree level? If so, you are eligible to take the Cfa as early as your last year in a bachelors program or if you meet the specific work requirements listed on the Cfa official website. I would check on their website to make sure you meet eligibility criteria for level 1
@@SarahSivan yes it's a bachelor degree
Hey MAm I am in class 11 can you provide some tips
Hi Aditi! I’m assuming by class 11 you mean grade 11 in high school? In order to sit for the CFA exam you must have a bachelors degree or the exam must be within 23 months of your graduation date (as on the Cfa website) so it may be a bit early for you to get started on Cfa studying! General tips for getting involved with the program would be attending a college and taking rigorous courses in finance, accounting and business ethics if you can. Taking statistics and economics classes may also be helpful to prepare for the cfa curriculum. You can look through the Cfa website to learn more about the program and exam to see if it’s something you want to pursue and when to sign up for an exam day when you become eligible. Hope this is helpful, and let me know if you have any other questions!! 😊

where can i find jobs after finishing cfa?
Hi Gurjot, there are many career options with CFA - most career options are in finance but you can also work in insurance, accounting and consulting. Is there a career path you’re specifically interested to know about with the CFA?
@@SarahSivan yes, I'm pursuing CFA level 1 and I was worried if there are job opportunity or not I researched alot some of the people said there are no jobs some said there are can you guide me? It'll really mean a lot
@@IVAR194 overall I think there is a pretty strong career outlook if you have a CFA and are looking to work in finance roles especially in investments/asset management. CFA definitely opens the door for you and shows employers your knowledge and it is a generally very well respected designation to have in the industry. Hope this helps answer your question and let me know if you have any other questions as you prepare for your exam! Good luck on level 1, you got this!! 🙏
@@SarahSivan thanks for that information just one last question from where can a person find CFA jobs?
@@IVAR194 job openings for cfa’s are usually listed on the CFA institute’s career center. (You can find it through the Cfa official website) you can also find jobs for cfa’s listed on most job boards (indeed/monster/LinkedIn, etc …depending on your location!)

How much salary will get after clearing level 1 ?..
Hi Rizwan! I would say salary after clearing one level depends on job structure but usually no direct increase. However it may open your job opportunities to higher paying positions! I will try to make a video discussing Cfa and salary :)
@@SarahSivan Mem thank you so much for your reply..🙏
@@RizwanAli-me3yd anytime, happy to answer! ❤️
@@SarahSivan Mem i have 6 years experience in finance however my package is very less..after clearing cfa level 1 with experience can i get good package ?. ..
@@RizwanAli-me3yd hi! 6 years is a great foundation for a more senior level position. I’m not sure if clearing level 1 will directly impact your salary package but with that level of experience and Cfa level 1 you can look for new job opportunities that may offer you a higher salary to start! Hope you get the package you deserve 💰🙏☺️

Haha, true sometimes it feels like 3000* hours of studying 😭📚
take me under your wing
Nice information bad editing
This is fake news. Do not believe her. Look for a good provider. And less than 300 hours. Impossible. There are charterholders out there who want you to fail the exam. It is a hard competition out there as to getting a job.
Question: if I fail at any level, do I need to pay for $900 charges again for the exam?
Hi Rose, yes unfortunately I believe you have to pay registration fees each time you take the exam - let me know if you have another q’s :)
